This place is infessttedd..my kids and I got ate u here for years, had it exterminated 3 times, but nothing worked....beware, new management doesn't seem to care much and will chargeyou out of pocket $250 per extermination and it wasn't even our fault...whoever moves in there next WILL have bedbugs! Beware apt 202, building 4701...please please, don't do it to yourself

Booked for the Shamrock Marathon and first room was stale smoke and bedbug on the drape shear... Second roon had bedbug on wall behind night table. Didn't bother to check beds. Got refund and stayed in Norfolk. Va Beach hotels need to get clean now!

Checked-in at this hotel at about 1:30am. Went to my room went to the bathroom and laid on the bed. After a few minutes of my girlfriend flipping channels, I fluffed my pillow ready to go to sleep and I saw a red, flat, tick like bug literally running towards me. I jumped up searched the pillow for the bug. I moved both the pillow and the bug to the table and killed the bug. It looked like a a rare tic or something so I looked it up on-line; Low and behold it was a bedbug. I put the dead bedbug in the keycard pouch. We grabbed our stuff and checked out leaving the bug at the front desk for management to see int the morning. We came back in the morning to get a refund from the General manager. He gave us the refund but contested the bug I left was just an incect not a bedbug. I offered to show him online that it was a bedbug but he declined. Its kind of sad these people won't admit they have an issue and fix it. SO BE WARNED, THEY HAVE BEDBUGS.

We attempted to stay here on Friday 10/07/2011, for the Collumbus Day Soccer Tornament held in VA beach this weekend. Room 905 was infested with bed bugs. We immediately checked out and found another hotel. We reported this to the manager on duty, and she called the owner to let him know. Frankly the hotels appearance from a cleanliness perspective left much to be desired.

My Girlfriend and I stayed in room 117 of this motel on June 23rd and June 24th (2011). After returning home both me and my girlfriend woke up with 20+ bed bug bites. New ones keep arising, so we are not sure if we brought them home with us. We have searched but cannot find any evidence of them.

La Quinta Inn & Suites Virginia Beach

Woke up in a sea of bed bugs at the La Quinta on 2800 block of Pacific in Virginia Beach. Have at least 10 bites. I went to sleep with lights and tv on. At 2:30, I awoke to find these disgusting reddish bugs - after they bite you, they swell and have a reddish color. Moved to another hotel in the middle of the night.

09-11-10 BEDBUGS 30+ bites. Went to speak with manager about the problem. Did not seem concerned. I had to ask for a new room and to waive my Fri night stay. I warned the housekeeper who was not at all educated about the bedbug problem or what they looked like. I showed her and explained the risks to her bringing them home. I would never stay at this hotel again. I would say they did nothing and rented the room again with no intervention from exterminator. The lack of customer service, concern by the establishment may be the new marketing branding for Travelodge.
