This hotel staff was great and we loved staying there. We stayed in room 1018 and I came home with a couple of bites and really did not think much of it. Well, then I started getting bites every night. At first I thought my animals had fleas, but they did not. It finally hit me that they could be bedbugs. I check my mattress and sure enough, bedbugs were found. After thinking about the bites I received while staying at Residence Inn, I know this is where they came from. When we called to talk to someone about it, they put us on hold, then hung up on us. I hate to have to write a review like this, but I chose this hotel because of the great reviews. And we really did have a good experience while we were there, but people need to know to check there beds before they unpack their stuff. I sure with I would have been a more aware of this, because now I am having to spend a lot of money trying to get rid of these awful creatures!

While as I was there, I had gotten several bites and just thought something had bitten me while I was outside. When I got home,I continued to get bites. After a month or so of getting bit, (and it was only me), I finally started thinking it was bedbugs. I checked my mattress and found several. I am know sure that I contacted these while at the Residence Inn Denver City. This is when I first noticed the bites, and then continued to have them ever since. Now I'm spending a lot of money trying to get rid of these awful creatures. When I called the hotel to see if they had had any other complaints from that room, they really had nothing to tell me. They put me on hold and hung up.

We moved into this rental home and it was infested with bed bugs! We had to pay around $2,000 to have someone exterminate the home. When we told the landlords what we found they told us "not our problem." Now 5 months later the problem is back and we do not have the extra money to exterminate again. Landlords said not our problem again. We are gonna try and find other accomadations. Please if they rent this home again beware of the Bed bugs!!!!

We rented unit 4110 in Aspen Lodge at Trappeur's Crossing, part of the "Platinum Collection." It seemed like one of the nicest mountain condos I'd rented: 2BR, 2 BA, a private deck with a hot tub and fire ring. That first night our dream turned into a nightmare.

The BF woke up complaining of itching all over. We turned on the light to reveal 5 palm-sized wheels over his face, neck, arm and back (see first pic.) Hoping it was a spider, we searched the bed only to find the bug in picture 2. Since neither of us knew what bed bugs looked like, we googled pics on our phone, only to find an exact match! I'm not an entomologist, but you can compare our pic with those of bed bugs on the internet.

We caught this bloated sucker live and brought it to the night manager, Steve, who thankfully got us another room and promised a full refund. Of course, we were up for hours running all clothes through the dryer and throwing away what couldn't go in the dryer, then showering and finding benadryl at 3 AM for the itching.

The next morning, instead of enjoying the 7" of fresh snow, I was exhausted and had to deal with multiple phone calls to get a refund. Tom, the property manager told me that the first "visual inspection" was "negative." WRONG ANSWER. The ONLY correct answer is "we are currently dousing the room with organophosphate insecticides." As if their inspection is supposed to offer solace?? My visual inspection was sure positive! What about our live specimen? We sure didn't bring them with us. Since their inspection was "negative" I can only wonder if they treated the room. I'm posting this to warn others and save them the misery we endured!

I stayed in this hotel for 5 days for a work training. I left with a few bites that I dismissed as a spider bite, a few days later about 15 more showed up ( I guess they take a few days to surface) I just finished disinfecting my home and washing everything I own, and I'm just praying we didn't bring them home with us.

Apartment infested with bed bugs from date moved in June 1, until I physically saw them on Nov. 29. Suffered numerous bites, rashes, swelling and horrific reactions. Had paid December's rent, but moved out on the 29th. Complex only refunded deposit and pet fee minus December rent and 4 days of January rent and charged $40 to clean apartment. Unbelievable. This place is totally inhabitable.

on my stay at this property in Dec. 17 thru 23- 2011. i woke up around 1am, with bites to my face, back, chest, an both arms. the guy from the front desk came to my room. took one of the bugs, in a container as a sample. an escorted me to another room. when i went back, to pick up the rest of my luggage. more bugs appeared on the bedding. i smashed one, an put it on the sheets. so they would not miss it. I thought Hampton would of registered this themselves. very disappointed.

Exterminator said they are definietly bed bugs and that the apartment next to us has them too. The apartment complax says we are the only apartment that has them.
