My stay started May 1st 2012. It is my two young children and i. When one morning my daughter woke up to small, itchy bumps running down her face,arms, and thighs. I checked my youngest and she had them as well. I had none as I slept in a different bed. I checked with the hotel manager and she told me we "may" have bed bugs but to not worry she will pay for my items to washed and dried as well as a new room. So I took it. I got my things washed and a new room... next door. I thought to myself. "few, dodged a bullet" thinking we took care of the problem right away. As it turned out I was mistaken. Next morning my two kids wake up with more bits and now I have them as well. I notify the manager and I let her now that either we somehow brought them with or the new room had them as well. She then says she will pay for my things to get washed AGAIN. WHAT'S THAT GOING TO DO. Obviously didn't work the first time. She offers to switch me rooms. So I am currently in the process of washing every piece of clothing and stuffed animal shoes and such. It's a horrible pain. All I want to do is leave my things behind and walk out with some sort of compensation. For lost and damaged items and suffering. I've been here for 22 days now . We have all our clothing here and all my kids toys and stuffed animals are here too. It's sad. 3 rooms I've been in so far and 2 for sure have them. I've been also chatting with other guest that are going to be coming forth with the same problem. I will NEVER stay here again.

We have not had any complaints at Microtel Inn and Suites, Madison WI about bed bugs in that room or any room since this complaint. We work hard at keeping our hotel bed bug free.

I got bedbug bites on my back, my neck and my arm on this Monday (4/9/12) and I didn't know what they were. On the Tuesday I got another set of bites on my face and I cought the bug. I googled it and turned out they are bed bug bites. When I talked to my coworker, I was told three years ago he had the same experience at the same hotel. Never stay there!

I was the last to go to bed the second night of our weekend stay in Cabin 20. I went into the room with the bunk beds and saw a small bug on the ceiling. I grabbed a tissue and climbed on the top bunk to squish it. I thought it looked like a bed bug so I searched for an image on my phone and it was. I have a photo of the bug in the tissue I grabbed it off the ceiling with. I pulled the fitted sheet off the mattress to take a look along the seams and saw nothing, but there was a spot of blood on the sheet that I slept on last night.

Saw and killed One brown bug on pillow, lifted pillow and found two more and killed them. Flipped mattress and Found 50 BEd Bugs on Used Childs Matteresses and killed what I saw and disposed of two matteresses immediatley to the outside trash area that night. Called apartment office and a treatment was applied. Since treatment saw two small babies and killed them and a medium brown bug and killed that. Last night saw a small baby and killed it and found one more. Calling office to report remaining bugs.

After finding dirty sheets, and un-vacuumed room upon check-in, I checked the bed and found at least a dozen dead bed bugs. I asked to switch rooms and found more there as well. The management and front desk staff refused to acknowledge the severity of the situation. I finally checked out and found a different hotel. Talk about customer service! They don't even know what that means.

My kids had a swim party that evening. We woke up the very next morning of 11/6/2011 and they were eaten alive. I was furious that we had to have this encounter and the staff at the front desk didn't seem to care not one bit it was as though it didn't alarm them at all. Bed bugs are a huge problem we seen at least seven of them please do not stay here.

You bet. This nasty hotel had bed bugs several people said they were attacked. and I had to go to Urgent care, I had over 140 bites on my arms, several all over my back, neck, legs and face. I have several pictures where I was attacked all over my body. This was 11/2010. They moved me to a different room, but I itched for months, it was like it was down in my blood stream.

Although I did not SEE any visible bed bugs, it is now 4 days later and I woke up in my OWN bed at home with something dark between one of my toes that bit me. I panicked so simply just brushed the thing away but I did see it was SOMETHING and it was dark and whatever it was, it bit me and it hurt! Now I'm all paranoid if I brought them home with me. I live in an apartment so not sure what to do if I do indeed have them! Ugh! #totallyfreakingout

I worked at this hotel and there were several incidents of bed bugs. The previous owner had successfully treated the affected rooms but new ownership is too cheap to treat them correctly. I would never stay here or recommend this hotel.
