I move into my apartment complex Dec2,20012.I notice that i had bedbugs after 2 days of being there.I notice blisters and red bumps on me that was so painful that i had to go to the hospital. on the 4th of December I notice a little red bug on my piller that looked like a tick. I moved in my apartment on Nov 1 2011. When I moved in I did not own any furniture, bed, or anything. I bought all of my furniture, and my bed new (still in the plastic wrap) from a reputable dealer. About 2 weeks later I started getting bites and within a few days it was severe.. I had large whelps all over my body from the bites and I reported it to the landlord who denied that this building had any problem. Pest control came and they did find bedbugs. Everything was treated. Now 3 weeks later I am getting bites again and found about 4 bedbugs under my mattress tag when I work up. I suspect that the whole building is infested and I am attempting to break my lease.

OMG!!! I only spent 6 total hoiurs in this room and I got at least 7 bites and counting .... I reported this to the General Mgr ... who told me she was NO expert ... and SIR ... NEITHER ARE YOU!! Then hung up. I've reported this to Choice corporate and to the Mecklenberg County Health dept!! That woman should MADE TO SLEEP in the SAME ROOM au naturale for the entire night UNDER THE COVERS .... I bet the problem gets handled toot sweet!! DO NOT STAY HEREif you are at all sensitive to bites. wE"ll see if corporate OR the health Dept does ANYTHING to stop them!!

On 1/6/12 we stayed at the comfort suites hotel in room 211, which was a handicap room, and found out the next morning (1/7/12) that the room was infested with bed bugs. They were physically crawling on the bed, box spring and walls. The hotel moved us to another room, 406, that was clear. We videotaped and took pictures of bed bugs. We also collected some in a zip lock bag. This hotel has yet to contact us about incident and didn't do much to accomondate us. Therefore, we look to take legal action.

12/19/2011 I stayed one night at Relax inn.12/21 2011 i noticed what appeared to be either spider or misquito bites on my arm chest and back.The next two days more appeared and left large ugly whelps all over me.Someone mentioned that they could be bed bug bites.I goggled bed bug bites and this is what i have.My exterminator had me wash all garments I fumagated my room and have went to my doctor who gave me permethrin and a steriod cream to treat the bites with.I contacted the mananger.I asked if he had insurance to cover all the expenses incurred form this horrible experince.His reply was you stayed her monday night and you are just now reporting this friday morning,And then said he had no insurance and he did not have a bed bug problem.The problem with this is my exterminator explained that when bed bugs bite you you do not feel them as they inject you with something that keeps you from feeling the bite.I have never had these before so i had no idea what to look for.The managers of these hotels should be held accountable for all the horrible pain and hardship and mental anguish from renting rooms to the public with rooms full od diseased bugs and parasites.

Horrific Experience with Bed Bugs!!! Over 150 bites and only was in the room for 5 hours!!! Found bugs in the sheets in the morning. Hotel staff came to room and took photos of bugs. Reported the problem to the Health Dept of Guilford County and I suggest any other victims do as well to insure these events are documented and taken seriously. I would not want my worst enemy to got thru this tamatic experience!!!!

My neighborhood reported that she had bed bugs and was trying to keep things quite, She found out someone inside the same complex also had a case of bedbugs. The apartment complex is charging each tent for the extermination however it seems to be more than one building and person responsible. I am moving and hope that others will follow. I suggest the mgmt give a complementary treatment to all units to stop what maybe a spreading epidemic. I know the apartment across the complex was treated very unfair and poorly for a condition we feel was not their fault. I would suggest that know body rents here until the management make a clean sweep.
