My husband and a co- worker stayed at the super 8 in marshalltown from 9-12-11 to 9-14-11 my husband came home that thursday night covered in bumps. They were itching so bad. we bought cortizon 10 but it was not making the itch go away. so i made a doctors appointment for him on monday the 19th. they refused to see him in the clinic so he had to go to the emergency room. by the time we got there the bumps had already turned into welts. they came to the conclusion that it was bed bugs. the only place my husband has stayed besides at home is the super 8, and with our family of 6 he is the only one with the rash. i tried to call the super 8 and the girl who answered the phone on thursday the 15th said she couldnt help me... so with no other choice i am making a report. my husband has now missed work and had an er visit for this. you would think the girl would want to help.

Checked in August 2nd and checked out August 3rd. In the morning there were 10-12 small blood spots on the pillow and sheets. Reported it to the front desk on August 3rd.

Awoke at 1:30 am to find myself and the bed loaded with bugs. They leave a bloodstain on the sheet when smashed. Worst of all the is no one in the office at this hour. I will spend the rest of the night in the car and see what happens in the morning.

Stayed the first night and woke up at 3 in the morning with bugs crawling on me and going on a killing spree, just going crazy. This is my first time I have had bugs.
