I have been a Big Sky employee for 2 years now. The employee housing in completley infested with bed bugs and employees are without a doubt carrying them into the hotel.

Gross. Stayed there a couple days ago. The place smells horrible, I knew I should have walked out. I woke up today with delayed reaction bed bug bites all over my legs and back.

I first learned of bed bugs at this hotel 4 years ago . i work as a travel nurse and the travel radiologist working with me got bed bugs . i quit staying there, This year 4th of July weekend another travel nurse I work with found bed bugs she took them to the health department who confirmed they were bedbugs in various stages of growth. she also no longer will stay there.

Our experience at the Sun Downer Inn was less than a downer. Upon arrival to the hotel at 12 AM August 7, 2011 after an exhausting and long drive from Minneapolis MN we were both grateful to have a nice clean bed to sleep in. Instead we got a room infested with bed bugs. In the early morning my wife awoke to a bed bug next to her face on her pillow. Upon further inspection of the room we found that both queen size beds in the room had 1/4 to 1/2 inch bedbugs on them. Taking a closer look at the room we could see skins that had shed from the bedbugs on the carpet in the room. At this point, I took a sample of live and dead bed bugs to the front desk. I request that the hotel refund the money for our stay. The front desk person reported that, the room is an outdoor entry and bugs will come in, implying that they are not liable for my purchased service and its quality. Bed bugs are a nationwide issue that has caught the attention of the Centers for Disease Control and local health departments. It is a serious issue and with hotels that conduct business such as this we may never get control. This is the single worst experience that I and my wife have ever experienced in any hotel. After leaving the Sun Downer Inn we drove to the nearest laundry mat and spent the next several hours laundering our entire luggage. On Monday I will be contacting the Rose Bud County Health Department to inform them of the infestation. Rainbow Property had me sign an acknowledgment of a past bed bug infestation making it sound like it had been treated. I moved in and started getting bit every night leaving big itchy welts all over me. They will not treat the whole building and never did treat the whole building. I moved out and left my furniture, totally ruined my furniture.

Mammoth Hot Springs Cabins

We spent the nights of Sept 17th and 18th of 2010 at Mammoth Hot springs Cabins (Cabin C57). The bedbug bites became evident a couple of days later. My wife got 18 bites, I got 8 bites, all on our necks and shoulders. We reported the incident to the Manager of the Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel. Never got any feedback from them. We have stayed here many times and never had any complaints until this year. Nice place to stay, but we won't be going back next year.
