It was an Air force reserve weekend so I had no say where I was put. It was around midnight when I was in the room when I saw something crawling away from me. I was horrified to find an adult bed bug. I immediately killed it and brought it to the front desk. The clerk seemed to be new and called her manager. They proceeded to give me another room, when I insisted the room farthest away would be helpful. They gave me one 2 doors down!!! I went into the room and inspected it, took a shower and decided I would sleep On The table since I was so disgusted. Went to grab the blanket, and found a baby bed bug in it! The clerk then decided to give me a bed upstairs (hmm I thought this was the furthest away I could get before!!!?) Now I'm in the 3rd room of the night, making the table into a bed and using the towels for blankets!!!

Awful experience. Two mattresses are sitting outside the hotel. Should have been a warning sign.

Bugs were easily visible upon pulling back covers. Some as large as dimes. Lots and lots of the damn things. Disgusting.

After trying to sleep for a few hours, I saw a red mark (bite) on my inner leg. I asked the hotel manager to come to my room and she transferred me to Rm. 213. No apologies from the hotel. I tried to send an email, but I got no response from the contact person (guest services).

Found a bed bug crawling up the wall in room 217 on 8/13/2011 and on 8/14/2011 my boyfriend had 30+ bed bug bites on him from romm 132.

Georgetown Manor Apartments is infested with bedbugs!!! they keep sending exterminators out that arent doing anything,they want to charge for rent and kick people out but will not fix the problem correctly!

We had checked in and were preparing to go to bed. My husband and I were in one bed and our daughter was in the other bed. My daughter said, "Daddy, I see a bug." We looked at it and saw one bug at first and then another bug. My husband had taken a pillow off of my daughter's bed prior to her seeing the bug. When we checked this pillow, 3 more bugs crawled out. We immediately reported it to the front desk and checked out.

My husband & I stayed at the AmericInn in Rehoboth, from July 12-15, 2011. Presently my arms, legs, fingers, etc. are covered with bites that are arranged in linear positions on the skin. Moreover, the swellings from the bites are so bad that I have difficulties flexing my fingers. Early morning, Saturday, July 16, 2011, my husband took me to the ER in Newark, Delaware. The physician diagnosed the bites as a severe case of bed bug bites. I was placed on prednisone and many other medications. Moreover, I am running a fever. That same Saturday, Jul;y 16, 2011, I contacted the hotel and the manager, inspected Room 204 and confirmed that Room 204 was infested with bed bugs. I am in terrible pain and discomfort. I will be seeing my internist tomorrow for follow-up care. This should never have happened. All rooms should be inspected by housekeeping before renting rooms to new clients. When I consider all the vacations of my livetime, this has been the worse experience I have ever had.
