My boyfriend and I stopped on our way to Florida. We always bring a flashlight and check the mattresses before staying. We did this and didn't find anything but about twenty minutes later my boyfriend saw bugs in the cracks of the headboard. We looked closer with the flashlight and they looked just like they did in the pictures. We changed rooms and did not sleep all night after searching it from top to bottom. We were really upset that we found them in the room and there was not a trace of them in the mattresses like all the reports say to look for.

Stayed at the hotel January 25th. A couple of days later I had bumps all over my body. Went to the doctor and he confirmed BED BUGS. I've been itching for a week now and have trouble sleeping. NEVER AGAIN

Woke up with bites all over our arms and complained to general manager, Paul Litter. He said that we could leave and offered no solution. Would not recommend any of the motels owned by the Handy family.

On December 17, 2011 we spent one night at this hotel. The next day I had bed bug bites on my face, head, neck,back,arms and fingers. The hotel confirmed the bed bugs and so did the Louisville Board of Health

Myers Towers

We have several friends who live in Myers Towers in Pikeville, KY. We understand that there is a huge infestation of Bed Bugs all over the building. Their floors are 2,4,7 and 10. When visiting we witnessed people going and coming through the lobby with bites all over their legs, and getting in the elevator a woman with bites all over her legs and the nap of her neck. We had considered Myers Towers as a future home for our Mother, but after hearing that possible grant money had been let for eradication and correction of the bed bug problem and said correction has not even begun we will not be considering any public housing. Hopefully there will be some report in the newspaper in the near future making the city aware. We will be looking forward to reading what is reported.

Have lived here for 3 months now. First noticed bited in the first week. Now a nightly occurence. Getting worse eery time. Doesn't matter if it is day or night. If you lay on the bed, you get at least one new bite. Reported to maintenance and owner/mgr as soon as we noticed the bites. 2.5 months later, they give us some spray to put on the bed.

Gardenside Plaza Apartments- MPM Management

Mattresses, box springs, furniture thrown out in the apartment complex dumpster. It was clearly written in permanent marker on all articles "bed bugs" and stains were visible. I am unsure which apartment these came from, or if the management is resolving the issue. When I signed the lease 2 months ago, they assured me they do not and have never had any type of bug problem. So either that was a lie, or this is a new problem. I just hope that they take care of the bug problem better than they do these apartments.

I was bitten several times on the back of my neck and on my back. I collected several of the bedbugs in a glass and took them to the front desk. Yes, they were big enough to see and collect!!!! I got a refund and went to another motel to stay.
