Booked 3 rooms. The one that my friend and I stayed in was full of bed bugs. Enough to the point that we saw one crawl across the bed in the morning. When we awoke, my friend was literally covered in bites. We spoke to the front desk, and they really didn't seem all that surprised.

I stayed in room 253. When I woke up the next morning i found a large bed bug in bed with me. When reported to a manager she implied that I may have brought it with me to try and scam a free room. Ridiculous! Avoid this place!!!!

Two Bed Bug Treatments Completed November 10th and 12th, 2011 by Exit Exterminating upon discovering Bed Bugs. Advised Landlord Oliva Sandler, who in turn, asked for our contact at Exit Exterminating to have 2nd Floor apartment treated at 537 Bay Ridge Parkway, which also had Bed Bugs. A relapse of Bed Bugs discovered December 15, 2011 and had a third treatment completed in our apartment on the First Floor on December 19, 2011. Treatments paid out of our own pockets and not reimbursed by Landlord.

Bed bugs appeared out of nowhere and began to bite us over the summer. We would wake up with itchy, blistering bites all over our arms and legs. It was horrible. We moved to say the least.

First night after hotel stay, I woke up with several bites. Mentioned it to my husband, but didn't pursue it. Later after checking websites, I found that others had experienced bed bugbites there. Pretty sure from pictures, time they appeared, and never having these bites before, that is what they were. Just hoping that we didn't bring them back with us. Have washed all clothes, sprayed luggage, etc. in assumption that one may have hitchhiked back with us. I don't feel it would do any good to call this hotel, since they denied a previous claim from someone else. The hotel was lovely, the staff very helpful and friendly, I am just very sad that this has now put a damper on our 30th anniversary trip. I have noticed that the bedbugs reports are plentiful for many Manhattan hotels. I pray that we didn't bring them back to the country.

Bed bug found on 12/6/11. Hotel management staff would not refund the money despite their 100% Hampton guarantee which states "if you are not satisfied, we don't expect you to pay."
