Several apartments in this senior citizen assisted living home of Paraclete Manor at 4725 Prospect Ave in Kansas City, Missouri are infested with bedbugs. Management has fumigated and eradicated many apartments there to no avail the past year. All of the pets there only add to the problem. It is an ongoing battle against bedbugs there.

Found bugs in the baseboards and files where the apartment next to me bedrooms were. Complained to management that apartment next to me had bed bugs. Kicked both of us out and then they are trying to charge me with $1800 treatment. Because I complained they are saying that I am the source. Retaliation. Filthy complex. Dog feces everywhere and NEVER picked up.

I stayed at Hotel Philips Rm# 1401 in KCMO from 10/20/10 to 10/23/10. Not realizing what a bed bug bite looked like I simply thought a spider or similar bug had bit me while staying there. On the day I arrived home my wife had also asked me why I had sores on my legs. I told I wasn'r sure, but probably a spider bite, etc.
My wife was unpacking my suit case and noticed small bugs on my clothing and in the suit case itself. Upon examination we discovered they were bed bugs I had brought home from the hotel. We have since had our home treated accordingly by a professional. What a mess!
