Pulled back sheets on both beds to look for bugs. Within 1/2 hour two bed bugs appeared moving on the sheets. Checked out. Still trying to get refund through Expedia.com & hotel, past 2+ days now. It was late this was 1st hotel that was available while visiting Houston. We were given room 219 and found it odd that the lights didn't work. I was able to turn on bathroom lights and sure enough there were roaches crawling everywhere, they didn't even scatter with the bathroom lights on. It was disgusting. That ended my visit to Houston quickly. disgusting.

I slept the first night in room 103, in the morning I found 2 bedbugs on the bed, I killed them and showed to the girl in the front desk, they transferred me to room 334 but the bites continued, I asked them if they were sure about no bedbugs in the room 334 and they aswered it was the first time in the hotel, but in two rooms? I´m allergic and I had to go to the hospital twice.

We checked in sept 27 th 2011. On a Tuesday . Two days later one of us started getting bites all over the arms and legs. And we noticed blood stains in the sheets. Not knowing what it was , we didnt give it much attention.. After 5 days there we all started to get bites also , we figured it was a allergic reaction to the room. That Sunday I went to the front office and was moved to another room.. Once again the bites kept appearing. I went to the office and explained what was happening , and was told it could be bedbugs.. So, immediately was told to wash all of clothing before going to another room, so we did. And they scheduled to get the room checked the next day.. It was confirmed it was bedbugs..

my son had a couple of bites on him and he said he saw a bug in his room that he never seen before i called the mgr and told them they sent pest control over and discovered it was bedbugs. the apts complex says that is the tenant expense. how is that cause they had other apts units with the same problem who knows where they came from im glad they didnt get to bad even though i had to get rid of my furniture

I moved in these apartments Nov 2009 and had no problem. May 2011 I started to wake up with bite marks on me. At first I thought it was spider bites. By June I had over 40 bites on my body. I contacted management the maintance guy came and said I had bedbugs and that I needed to handle it myself. They didnt no anything. Now i cant go inside my room and I lost all my stuff.

I am an Angolan citizen and have stayed at Crowne Plaza Hotel HOUSTON I-10 WEST for about 6 days. On my last 3 days or so I had noticed some bugs appearing on my bed, which I thought strange and weird. On the first day I did try to kill them all. However, for my surprise the next day I saw more bugs on my bed. Since I was about to check-out, I did not report to the hotel management this incident. A few days later and back home, I have read an article on the New York Times website about the bugs and I saw a picture of them and they seemed the bugs I had noticed on my hotel room. I hope the hotel management is aware of this situation by now.
