I have notified the apartments twice. they have done nothing. not sure they even care. i have lived there for a little over a month. i'm not sure if i should even pay rent. how do i get the city involved in this matter? PLEASE HELP!!!!! THE BITES DO NOT STOP!

We where moved in to this apartment and after being there a month we started to notice tick like bugs and I asked managememnt at this point assistant manager tells us the apartment was infested with bedbugs. At this point I could nothing had to trash all my belongings they had gotten into clothes and sofa and all beds as well as the kitchen table. The times they sent someone to spray the pest control person I caught leaving after 5 minutes after they made me waste two days in moving everything. the third visit nothing was changing I gave up and moved out.

Management refused to give full refund even after I showed them bedbugs and dozens of red welts. I had over 150 bites and half a dozen bed bugs I had captured on a glass. They said they would give a full refund once incident was confirmed with extermination company; I have not yet received the refund and it has been almost two weeks. I still have the bites on my body. Please report all bedbug-infested hotels to the local Health Department for the county and/or state. Also, please post reviews on TripAdvisor. (I had checked TripAdvisor before booking but no one had mentioned bedbugs.)

Woke up this morning with bites all over the right side of my body. I looked at the sheets and there weren't any blood spots but then saw about 10 dead bed bugs on the window sill. I moved to this place from a different disgusting Extended Stay and was promised this one would be better. No. Much worse. Still gross and infested on top of that. I'll be moving out of here as soon as I'm off work. Disgusting.

My girlfriend and I are staying at the Royal Inn on Independence Way in Dallas, TX. for the last few days. We awoke each morning with more and more itchy red bumps on our backs, stomachs, arms and legs. This motel is invested with bedbugs, and the management staff will do nothing.

October 29th, 2010 2nd Floor Room overlooking courtyard facing lobby. I did not know what bedbugs were and showed a co-worker my bites the next day. The one night I spent there I felt like something was biting me all night, what a horrible experience, especially at a Marriott.

We stayed one night at the Melorose, on November 26, 2010. I awoke early to catch a morning flight. When I awoke, I turned on the light and saw a bedbug crawling away from my head on the pillow. I caught it, put it in a plastic bag, and gave it to the hotel manager after taking many photos of it. I had a bite mark on my neck. The manager refunded our money for the night's stay, but told me during a phone conversation a few days later that the hotel's exterminating company said that the bedbug in the bag was simply the remnants of a human's bloody scab and was not a bedbug. I told him he was being deceived by his exterminating company, because scab remnants do not have legs that crawl away.

We had asked the hotel manager to pay for the treatment of our luggage, just in case any bedbugs had caught a ride home on any of the pieces. The manager wouldn't agree to that unless he first confirmed the existence of a bedbug, and because the hotel exterminating company said that the bedbug was only as scab, we were never compensated for the treatment of our luggage.

I stayed here for a week so far. I did not have any problem for the first week. However, since the maid changed the bed sheet yesterday, found out that there were bed bugs in my bed. I have itchy red spots on my body.
I reported it to the front desk and waiting for the help or any other changes or arrangements the hotel can make for me.
