Was notified a few months ago by the apartment association of a bed big incident on the 19th floor. They stated that the adjacent units on the floor and the units above and below the effected apartment was treated. Last week I noticed a few (2)linear bite marks on my foot. The following day I noticed numerous bites on my same foot in rows of 2 and 3, then the next day I had two more bites on my arm. Thinking it was scabies, I visited a dermatologist who assured me it wasn't scabies but perhaps bed bugs. I stripped my lines and inspected my mattress and then flipped it over. While vaccuuming the mattress thats when I saw the bed bug in the seam of the mattress. I immediately called my landlord but treatment has been delayed due to the holiday weekend.

Second time i am paying for treatment. The apartment complex is infested with bed bugs but the responsibility is put on the tenants. You are only allowed to use their exterminator, but the whole cost is charged to the tenant. O.K, we paid for the first incident, 500 dollars Now 5 months later they have returned and we have to start all over again, including the extermination fee. The hallways and all common areas should be treated, but they have not. Calling fox news and harry hairston to report the unfair practices.

Me and my family had 2 rooms at this hotel,in room 313 we found bed bugs. after we where about to leave on my sons jacket was a bedbug. This hotel offered us no compensation for horrible experience. I was very frighted and upset.

I reported to the manager that I thought I had some kind of bug problem. At the time I did not know what kind of bugs they were, becuase I was being bitten while sitting at my desk in my bed room. When I called the manager, she stated "I'm not aware of any problem, your more than welcom to come over and get the can of spray I have". I started sleeping in my kitchen on a pull out. I'm to darn scared to sleep in my room or even on my couch.

Me and my girlfriend stayed there and at night I myself started scratching my lower back. Thinking it was an itch I thought nothing of it. Upon morning my girlfriend told me she was itching and I said ":me too!" So she looked at my back and I look at hers and at that moment I knew what the itching was caused from. I approached the manager about the situation...only to be told that i have an allergic reaction . nothing further but we have allergic reactions. We stayed at this hotel a period of 5 times and this time we got bitten on december 7, 2011 at check out time which is 12pm it was reported to management.

Have four bits in a line from this room. In true for they showed up two days after my first night there, This was mid October 2011. Sofitel denies this is their problem. I have had been now where but home for two months. Nice service until this happened. Yuck!

My husband and I stayed here for two nights this weekend. We arrived late on Friday night and went straight to bed. I was surprised to find on Saturday afternoon that I had several bug bites by lunchtime. I assumed it was due to walking around outside and sweating because we were sightseeing all day. However, by Sunday morning, I was suffering from several additional bites. When we got home Sunday night, my husband and I inspected the bites and found that several of the bites could not have occurred while sightseeing, as they were on areas my shirt covered.

I had an incident in 2009 at my old apartment where a neighbor dragged in bedbugs that spread to my apartment. I am familiar with the bedbug bite patterns and occurrence, and that is what these have to be. I am contacting the hotel today to inform them, as they have a lot of tourist traffic due to a Living Social coupon.

aparently started in 102. the manager gave the tenent 5.00 to do wash and he sprayed her apt. this didnt help he sprayed again.then 201 apt gpt them ,joe sprayed there as did the tenent .this is where i found out about the problem.i requested an exterminmator since i now have them. he gave me permission to buy the stuff and do it myself ,he would deduct charges from rent. the problem is only getting worse ,i cant stay there im disabled and i just dont know what to do please help us he(joe) needs to be told how to handle this infestation .we are all losing all our belongings.

Here is the email I sent to management.6-29-11

I found bed bugs in my hotel bed. My back is bitten to pieces. When I went down to the front desk the guy said 'oh' when I showed him all the bed bug feces I'd scraped from the sheets. At first the front desk manager said he didn't know if they were bed bugs when I showed him the bug poop.He and a security guard came up and made a show of looking at my bed and said they didn't see anything and left. This was at midnight. He told me there are no rooms tonight anyway. (What good would that do to spread them?) He said IF they were bugs he'd send an exterminator in the morning but only his manager could authorize this and he could not compensate me for anything. I just cried, afraid to sit. Finally, I caught two blood filled bed bugs in the quilted stitching of the mattress- with a sticky note and brought them to the front desk. The guy (no name tag) said "Yeah, I know" when I showed him the proof. He said we have bugs but it isn't the ENTIRE hotel. I was furious to the point of tears.

This is a POOREST excuse for a hotel. I have a world of work in front of me to boil all my things in hot hot water and ruin some of my favorite clothes in the process. I'm itchy and grossed out beyond my mind's limit. It is 2:30 am and I can only sit here and wait for my 6:00 am train. How sad is this?

I CAN'T BELIEVE YOUR STAFF KNEW AND TRIED TO HIDE IT. You should be ashamed. I will do ALL I can to let it be known how horrible you are to your customers. I'll NEVER be back. You wouldn't do this to a dog.

I found I had bed bugs, the building blamed me only then that I found out that the building had been fighting an infestation for months. They run all over the building bc they failed to spray multiple rooms at one time. Horrible, needless to say Im not there anymore.
