Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Saturday December 30,2023, my daughter and I woke up to find a live bed bug crawling in her bed in room 417. I took a picture of it and we went downstairs to speak to the front desk. I advised the lady at the desk of the issue and she documented it. I told her we needed a new room and she said that would not be a problem. She advised once we got our things packed up to call her. I did and she said she would call me back in a moment with our new room number. She called back shortly after and said I could come down to pick up the new room key, which I did. The room we moved to one floor down was more up to date and cleaner than the first one. We had no issues with the second room. After we got home a few days later, my daughter noticed she was now itching and had several bug bites.
