My wife and I stayed here on Sat., 3-24-12 and awoke to find a live bug on the top sheet of the mattress. Took the bug to front desk where the young man working placed it into a container, stating that he isn't trained to identify bed bugs. He stated that we would receive a call from the hotel the next day. I proceeded to call the hotel today and was told that the bug was, in fact, a bed bug. I asked to speak to a manager, and am awaiting his/her return call, as there was no one available to speak to me at that time.

Formerly Holiday Inn Express which is already on this list. Found 5 bed bugs at the head of the bed. Also had small black "blood" stains at the head of the mattress pad. Told them I was not paying for the room because it had bed bugs. They didn't really object, so I assume this means they know they have bed bugs.

I woke up with three bites on my face. I saw a black bug running between the bed sheet. I killed it and it was blook came out of the bug. I talked to the front desk, she said she would take a look at it. But as for discount, no, she said the previous night the person didn't complain about the bug. I told her the blook and the bug is still on the bedsheet. It was three bumps when I left the hotel but two days later it become bigger and yellow fluid come out of them.

I woke up in the middle of the night and found a oval brown bug. I killed it and unlike when I smashed the oval brown bug it just blood that came out. I called the front desk and reported it and asked to be moved to another room and they did. The next day I had bite on my side of my face and two on my arms! Dont sure if I was bit by the oval bug , Im just saying , put two and two together.

He came up and did everything in his power to disprove it and even thought it a good idea to have a full blown argument with me. I know what they look like and how it feels. Been there, done that. Stay away.

I did not see bug on bed, but I was waked up by skin itching at night. I found multiple red spots on arm and ear skin. I reported it to reception. Next day they changed a room for me. I did not have any problem in other room.

We found a lot of bed bugs in the apartment, dogs were itching really bad from it. I got a few bites before noticing the problem. Apartment complex is not properly fixing the problem. Many other residents have been complaining too. This place really was awful before the bed bugs, now we are really hating it here so bad!

Stayed at Fort Rapids Aug. 2011. The next day, after checking out, I noticed bites on various parts of my body. My bites itched really bad. The next day my son's friend had about six bites on his arm. His did not itch, nor did he get anymore. My son also had bites that did not bother him. Now, six days later, he seems to be having more of a reaction to the bites. I called the hotel, and they sent a manager to inspect the room. They reported back that there were no bed bugs. We have been inspecting our house and have found no proof of bringing any bed bugs home. The bites match online pictures. I can not believe we did not have bed bugs in our room.

I checked into this room over the weekend for three days ,I've received bites I figured they came from a mosquito or spider ...my last night I couldn't sleep and was on fb and twitter via my iPhone when I looked at the pillow and there was a bed bug !!!! I looked online and it was identical to all the pictures on google...couldn't sleep the whole night ! Went to the clerk and was moved into another room, immediately took another shower I pray that I don't bring them home or back to my college dorm !!!:O

Stayed one week. On the sixth day noticed a bite on my arm that appeared the same as ones I had received a year ago at this same hotel. checked linen and found a bed bug shit mark on pillow. Since I was familiar with these marks I moved to another hotel. as a general precaution I never left my luggage on the floor. The outside door has a gap and it is possible for the bugs to invade from nearby rooms. I had a single bite rather than a chain so I suspect this was a single juvinile that caused the damage. Last year I was able to capture 4 bugs at this same hotel and was given a new room. I ended up having to cook my clothing and luggage at 130 degrees for an hour.

Bed Bug infestation. Initially I reported intching and a greasy sudden breakout on my body and face. It was blown off by head of housekeeping, until the housekeeping staff themselves reported it, and I was then advised by the hotel general manager that they inspected and found bed nugs. I was then advised to pack my things, leave them in the room, have them reoved by maintenace for outside cleaning. I then need to evacuate, leaving my items in that room in order for Orkin to come. I was then moved to another room. I contacted a physician the next morning, and was advised that I needed to see a dermatologist or go to the emergency room immediately. I then paid 233.00 unexpectely for a visit, which has yet to be compensated by the hotel. I am still waiting for a phone call.

Checked in on Saturday, January 29th - checked the sheets, mattress, box springs which all appeared to be new. Noticed when we walked into the hotel room initially it was at least 100 degrees (took breath away). Went to dinner, socialized in lobby and when returned to room saw a bed bug scurry across the sheet. We took the bug to the front desk. They said they had never had a report. They offered another room but we chose to check out.

I lived in double at this address. Noticed bites on kids, found 5 bugs total. Neighbor had infested couch. Landlord hired "laid off" bug man, he brought a can of spray and 4 cans of BedLam insecticide that can be purchased on the internet. Eventually moved and had to leave "ALL" furniture even gave some to the same neighbor because I found a baby crawling on the dresser mirror against the inner wall shared by other half of double. BUGS NOT GONE. As of 8/20/2010

I awoke to find many bites on my arms, and back. I am a hotel manager for an upscale hotel chain and I have been trained on what bed bugs look like and where to find them. This room was definitely infested. I reported it to management and received compensation, but there wasn't too much urgency on behalf of the staff.
