I've been to Bally's frequently but the incident during the weekend of October 22nd was appauling! The 15th floor is located within the Garden Tower of Bally's and although it has nice interior furnishings, it did have bed bugs at the time! Unfortunately, I didn't report the pests to the hotel lobby since I was in a rush to leave on Sunday evening. Unfortunately, my room was infested with these critters and was bit with numerous bites the week before Halloween! Some of these bites are still showing minor red scars even though they are healed. Being that I have not traveled anywhere during that week besides the Bally's Atlantic City visit, try to avoid the 15th floor as much as possible. I had to contact Bell Environmental Services to eliminate the infestation and have done so in two visits in two weeks time (Great Bed Bug Control Company in New Jersey!). Now I am no longer experiencing any bites ever since! Bally's is one of Atlantic City's oldest hotels with elevators not working and creaking spontaneously. It doesn't help them now that there is a second report of bed bugs and first report within the Garden Tower!!

We woke up after our first night to bites all over our neck and stomach. When we reported it, the head of security confided that they have several reports each week. We took "samples" of these bugs home and confirmed with a pest control company that they were bedbugs. Just disgusting.

My husband and I checked into room 117 at this hotel on 9/17/11. That night, I saw two huge bed bugs on the corner next to my pillow. I informed my husband and he checked and saw one immediately on his side of the bed as well. Upon further inspection, we saw more bed bugs all over the bed. We informed the person at the front desk and he came over to the room and saw them too. Unfortunately, there were no other rooms to put us into that night. We ended up checking out right after that. We booked and prepaid for our hotel through hotels.com and have been trying to get a refund. Today, we got word from hotels.com that the hotel would only refund us half the money. The supervisor at the Quality Inn was denying there was a bed bug problem even though one of his employees came to our room and saw the bed bugs with his very own eyes. I have a feeling they are still letting people stay in the room even though they are aware of the problem.

Woke up with huge lumps on body and as the day went on they got worse and were itching so bad. We notified the front desk and they send security up and I do not think he believed us. He sent me down to the front desk and they changed our room to a smoking room I cant stand smoke but they didn't care. Did not do anything for us just switched the room they did not really care. We will never come back to this hotel.

I stayed with my husband for one night at one of the newest rooms in the hotel because my husband had to attend a seminar. It was in the Habana Tower. While I went to sleep he stayed up doing work for the next day when he woke me up showing me several bites in his upper body. He also showed me how little clear bugs (some others were bright red, after feeding on us :p) were crawiling under the sheets (and I am talking about several. I was in panic, so we call the front desk and some people from the hotel came upstairs. I recall the head maid, the manager and some other people. The only answer we got was "We are sorry" for the inconvenience, and we were moved to another room. My husband inspected it and apparently it was ok. However, I was not able to sleep all night and we still had to pay for the room. It really sucked. Plus since then, I am paranoid every hotel I go to.

I was bitten by bedbugs and complaint to the supervisor they told me that it wasnt bedbugs i told them that i didnt have this lums on my body before i came here then went to the er because i was so scared to have cellulitis or any disease the emergency room staff told me to sue the hotel because they were irresponsible, the risk management of showboat told me that theres no bedbugs bt that was very impossible....is there anyone knows where ican hire a lawyer.

My husband and I lived in Atlantic City Convention center hotel ROOM 1517 (club level room)from 4/21 to 4/24. The first night is ok, but I waked up by having itch on my arm, hands and legs on 4/23 morning(there were eight total). I told my husband, but we cannot find bugs there. I called front desk, the manager came to our room. They checked(just looked at mattress,found nothing). The manager saw my arm and said they were bitten by mosquitos. But we went to Rite Aid to buy itchy cream later, a staff, who worked in pharmacy dept, saw my arm and said he was prety sure they were bed bugs bittens. We came back to hotel and asked for changing room. The manager told us, she will ask a expert company come to hotel on monday and check the room 1517. Then she will contact my husband on monday and will send us the report. Now it is Tuesday. No any phone call and no reports here. One more thing I should mention, we moved to room 1505 on 4/23. But we heard someone lived in 1517(there were big noise from 1517 when we passed through)after we moved out from Room 1517. ON SAME DAY. How is a hotel can do that? I am so disappointed at Sheraton. I will never go back again. So irresponsible manager.

Beware I had inspected with a flash light that I packed & did not see any evidence of Bed Bugs. In the morning I woke up itching and with raised welts. When I began packing I saw a bed bug crawl across the covers. I called security & they found evidence that I had been biten during the night. They made a report I went to the nurse to be treated for bites.

My wife and I recently returned from a stay at the Hilton Hotel in Atlantic City where we had a bed bug crawling across the bed. My wife was able to trap the bed bug into a dixie cup and I was able to take a picture of it. We reported this to the front desk and they moved our room only to a dirty room which I again complained and we were moved to a different room. The head of security for that night came to our 3rd room to check it out which was suitable. The next night a lady from our bus trip was bitten by a beg bug at the Hilton in Atlantic City and when she asked for alcohol they told her they didn't have any but she could go to the gift shop and purchase some. I spoke the head of hotel operations and he basically said sorry can't talk about anything because it is in our risk management hands and I can't give you a timeline for when their investigation will be completed. WHAT A JOKE. THIS PLACE IS DIRTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BEWARE!!!!!!!!!

Threw out new $1100. matress box spring had to buy vinyl clik-clak (sofa bed) have to spray ammonia on floor,landlord never treated building,sleep is interrupted, husband has welts from bites! Trash rooms on each floor unsanitary!

We checked into two rooms on the 11th floor. All four of us woke up bitten from head to toe (literally). The bites swelled and are extremely uncomfortable. We went to the front desk and spoke to the manager. He was very unhelpful and unsympathetic. He showed no remorse and called security on us when we demanded he do something about the situation. The head of house cleaning said she had official bed bug training and said that it takes 24 hours for bed bug bites to appear on a persons body and so it cant be bed bug bites. But that's completely false. Bed bug bites can show almost immediately otherwise within a few hours. He refused to give us corporates tel. or contact info and now we are stuck figuring out who to contact. He had no problem CHARGING OUR CREDIT CARDS!!!

Stayed at the Bally's tower rm. 4135 on Nov,7th 2010 no problem first night, second night my partner and I was laying across the bed watching tv and we both fell asleep.My partner woke me up and said something was biting them. I looked at their arm and saw several raised bumps. i thought they were having a allergic reaction to something they ate, until I moved the Pillow and saw the culprit, A bedbug ! My Immediate reaction was to smash it with the remote on the pillow. I the called the front desk and talked to a Laura who said she was a supervisor and explained the situation. She suggested my partner see the nurse at the medical station and would change our room. We took photos of the bug and the bites with our cellphone. We were not given any bags for our clothes or anything, I just grabbed up all our stuff and packed up wanting to get out of there right away. It took about 45min. before a bell cap came up to remove our luggage and give us new room keys. After a good inspection second room was fine. Very Harrowing experience.

Nov 12 2010 - Checked into Harbor Tower Room 505 and 507. At the end of the night we went back to our rooms and saw bed bugs crawling on sheets and on the night stands. We immediately called the front desk and they said they would move us and comp the room...come to find out when we checked out they did not comp the room at all...they lied and are completely unhelpful. Other guests found bugs on other floors and in the Atrium Tower.
