Positive confirmation by exterminator; been "dealing" with infestation in children's room since mid Feb, dr reports of bites; Multiple visits. Apt management dismissed all requests, pleas for help -have photos and specimen for proof. Finally able to get in contact with regional management though nothing done at this point. Apt above has also complained to management.

Bed bugs started to come out (eating through the textured ceiling) after the apartment had been remodeled. I left my apartment the same day after seeing them gathered in groups on my daughters(1 and 5) wall. I contacted the rent office who would not call me back. I called the health department and they nevrr contacted me back. So now Im posting this after being out of my place for 2 weeks now. I would also come back periodically to see if they spread and more holes had been created by the bed bugs.

I know of at least 5 apartments that have Bedg bugs. The apartment managements is charging everyone for treatments. Once they treat one apartment another one turns up with bed Bugs Im moving immediately.

It was my very first apartment so I neve r knew about bed bugs until me and NY husband had started to wake up with red bumps everywhere on my arm..I thought it was the soap I was usuing so I changed soaps then I measure laying in the bad one bight and seen a bug I quickly jumped up and cut on the light Google bed bugs and Netherlands apartment complex ate refusing to pat for it everyondown here have then so fir your own sake if you don't want that price lem don't nice to those nasty apartments

My and family I moved here where we temporarily moved to this hotel. My wife and I first awoke with red bumps about 3 weeks after stay. We didn't think to check the bed because we never had any encounter with bedbugs so we awoke the next day and my youngest son had a big red bump on his forehead so we began discovering something was biting us all. Finally my youngest son said look, it's a bugs on the bed so after looking closely and pulling up pics online of a bedbug, I thenfound my match. After reporting this matter, front desk came to spray our room but we asked for another room and they wouldn't give us one instead they tried to hold us responsible for bringing them to their hotel even after admitting that a customer was just refunded because of bedbugs prior to my incident. They did spray the room but this hotel personnel and owner lacks integrity in customer service

I arrived in charlotte about 7:30pm friday night to enjoy aa weekend of fun and activities for the CIAA weekend events for my birthday. Saturday around 11am ihad a slight itch on my hand. Layed down for a nap later to awake with over 20 bites on my body. Had to go to the emergency room and recieve a shot and three types of meds to take. I had to throw out all my clothes that I had bought early that am and that I wore friday on my arrival, so that I did not run the risk of bring this home and to my kids. I was in room 200.

OMG!!! I only spent 6 total hoiurs in this room and I got at least 7 bites and counting .... I reported this to the General Mgr ... who told me she was NO expert ... and SIR ... NEITHER ARE YOU!! Then hung up. I've reported this to Choice corporate and to the Mecklenberg County Health dept!! That woman should MADE TO SLEEP in the SAME ROOM au naturale for the entire night UNDER THE COVERS .... I bet the problem gets handled toot sweet!! DO NOT STAY HEREif you are at all sensitive to bites. wE"ll see if corporate OR the health Dept does ANYTHING to stop them!!

My neighborhood reported that she had bed bugs and was trying to keep things quite, She found out someone inside the same complex also had a case of bedbugs. The apartment complex is charging each tent for the extermination however it seems to be more than one building and person responsible. I am moving and hope that others will follow. I suggest the mgmt give a complementary treatment to all units to stop what maybe a spreading epidemic. I know the apartment across the complex was treated very unfair and poorly for a condition we feel was not their fault. I would suggest that know body rents here until the management make a clean sweep.

I am at the Microtel inn on 132 east McCullough Dr Charlotte, n.c. I have actually saw and killed several bedbugs in several different rooms unaware of what they were. The last day or so I have noticed small itchy red marks around neck, shoulders, some on legs and arms, but mostly upper half of body that I do not cover while sleeping. I even noticed two or three bugs on window seal in an open hallway. After breaking out I Google bedgugs for pics of bedbugs to see if what I had been seeing around were these bugs and sure enough, these are the bugs I've been seeing here. I am in panic mode trying to figure out what I can do to not take them with me!!!;urrrgghh

On November 9, 2011 I was a guest at the hotel. I woke up itching. I went home the following day and found 200 bites all over my back, front and legs. I am sending pictures to bed bug reports of the bites. I had an exterminator inspect my bedroom. He found at least one bed bug in my mattress last week. I had my bedroom exterminated. I have contacted the hotel to report the incident. I am waiting on their response.

We stayed five nights at the Marriott and were horrified to end up covered...head to toe...with bites. We returned home, had the bites medically examined--bedbugs. Upon reporting our experience to the management, we were told that they would follow up with a call. None came. Never again! The expense of ridding our own home of possible invasion coupled with the absolute misery of these countless bites for three weeks was awful. The lack of concern or follow up by hotel management after reporting the incident informally and formally reflects a wholesale disregard for their industry reputation. Be forewarned.

I killed the bug and brought it down to show the manager on duty. He was very polite and thankful that I told him. He said they would take care of the problem. I checked out.

My boyfriend and I booked a room for the weekend of 9/22/11-9/25/11. We spend the night on the 22nd. We woke up we both noticed that we had very similar bite mark on our ankles and legs. we just blow it off for a couple of hours thinking maybe it was just mosquitoes bites. Then I started thinking there is no way that can be because when we left out the room we both where fully clothed the only time we weren't was in the hotel room. I started to look up pictures online and later came to the realization that the bites where in fact bed bug bites. the hotel refunded our money back. But, I felt as though they should be reported so that this problem would not happen in the future.

this place is crawling with a bed bug infestation and is absolutely disgusting. we only stayed two nights in charlotte because our flight to NY got canceled due to hurrican irene. got stuck in this crappy hotel for saturday and sunday night. drove all the way back to ny on monday and by tues/weds was completely covered in bedbug bites. now my ny apt is infested and it is taking the exterminators over 2 weeks to get rid of these things. they are an absolute nightmare and so is econo lodge for not taking responsibility for this mess! called repeatedly and stated my case, no remorse, no shock, no surprise from anyone who i told at the front desk! this place is absolutely ridiculous!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE OR ANY OF THEIR OTHER CHAINS THEY ARE ALL INFESTED!!!

We stayed in room 520 labor day weekend on Sunday evening. I saw a small reddish bug on the bed the next morning along with small blood streaks when I threw back the sheets. I did not realize it was probably bed bugs at the time, since I had never seen them and did not know that they even existed now. Upon breaking out in red welts in the days that I followed and going online to investigate, I realized that it most likely was bedbugs. By the following Monday, I was in a horrible condition and had to go to the doctor. I was diagnosed with scabies. I know that I got the scabies from this hotel and I am just as sure that there were bedbugs as well.
