Came home today and found a bed bug in my clothing. My house has been inspected, but nothing has been found. Concerned this came from hotel room. We do have picture of the bug, that we captured in our clothing.

The Best Western was listed as a five star hotel so we thought it was safe. At check in everything seemed ok and we settled in. By the next day my roomates had bite marks on several parts of their bodies. They were sleeping in the bed closest to the door and I had not had any bites so we assumed it was just mosquitoes but the bites kept happening. Four days we kept seeing more and more bites. My roomates looked like they had legions on them, severe allergic reactions and welts where these things were biting them. We found one nymph and I killed it before we could show it to the hotel. There were stains on all the sheets they were laying on, all the tell tale signs after we started looking for them eggs, etc. Finally catching one we took it to the hotel clerk and had them inspect the room. They argued with us and told us they were fleas. They were not fleas, we found another on the way home, it had bitten me at this point. The hotel assured us they would contact the health department and get the room inspected. They also told us they would send the paperwork to us from that inspection. NONE of that has happened. In looking at incidents, reviews on the travel advisor and others there are reported incidents dating back to 2009.

On 9/19/10, we were there for the Yankees/ Orioles game. The following morning, I refused to look further after finding 3 bedbugs and fecal matter in the bed. This was in room 414. I contacted the hotel and they didn't do anything about it. After getting home, i had many bites on both arms. I left all luggage outside for a week, cleaned it, did laundry immediately and thankfully never brought them in my house. I will never go back to that hotel.

Stayed Dec. 4-6, 2010. 2nd night I had bites on my butt, thighs and arm. Didn't realize what they were until I got home. I think the bedbugs were in the dresser drawer and got in my clothes.

Stayed on Oct 1, 2010 on a cot in a suite. Was bitten 67 times on back. Hotel was clean and no one else in my party who slept on regular beds had problems. Assuming problem came from cot.

Although it was three years ago I think this still needs to be reported. I never knew of this site before now. This took place in apartment 203. The people had moved out and maintenance discovered bed bugs all over the bedroom. Terminix was called in and they informed everyone next to apartment 203 and above and below on how to prepare the apartments for treatment. The technician came and treated the apartments and there hasn't been a bedbug incidence sense 2007. My mother lives in this building and I am going to spend whatever I have to on chemicals, covers, etc. so as to prevent her from being affected in the future.
