I was staying at this hostel for really affordable price. For the first few nights I stayed at room 110 with several other girls, and after one day I got a new single room (615). I stayed at this room another couple days and yesterday night(actually a few hours ago) I found something crawling my leg with some ichness. I saw my leg under a blanket, and cought a bug which made a blood stain in tissue. I compared the pictures and found out the bed bugs. I reported it to the front desk but the person in front desk told me that i could go to another room ( which I am in now) and would have to talk to manager today morning. I am reporting this now so i can share this with others.

My boyfriend and I were on a budget when we stayed at the Park Hotel, so we weren't expecting anything fancy at all. During the first night in our room, we noticed a few small bugs crawling on the mattress and up the wall by the head of the bed. We had never seen bedbugs before, so we wanted to make absolutely sure that's what they were (although any bugs at all would still deserve a complaint), so we looked up about them online and, sure enough, they looked exactly the same. We complained to the girl at the desk and she put us in a new room. We checked everywhere and was vigilant all night and there were none in the new room we stayed in.

I'm thinking just some of the rooms had it, but regardless, we're never staying there again.

Went for class reunion in San Francisco and book this place using Kayak.com using iphone 2 hours prior my arrival. In description it was " Hot Deal" 2 star hotel. $59 + Tax 2, rooms left. Got "Lucky" booked one of them. Next day, I noticed bumps on my hands and my back and thought it some kind of allergy and then realize and doctor confirmed it is bedbugs bites. Hope to get at least my money back from this sh*thole. Even with out the bedbugs this place is terribly bad.

Rented two rooms for 3 nights. Both rooms were infested with bed bugs and we woke up with bites everywhere- ruined our trip.

The manager refused to do anything about it, he wouldn't refund, let us switch rooms, or even offer to dry clean a bag of clothes (as most normal hotels would).

Stay away.

It has taken me 3 weeks to realize what these bites were and are only just now starting to go away! Ughhh I've heard this has become a big problem but until it happens to you you won't understand just how nasty it is!

We reserved for three nights during the Christmas this year and my mom was bite for the first two nights in room 114. Then I reported to the front desk, he said he had never heard of any bedbug issues before. But he agreed to help us change to another room for the last night. No more bites now.

I stayed here from Nov 16-19 and on the morning of the 19th woke up with just two bites. They can take days to manifest. By the morning of the 21st my arms and neck were covered in bites. They don't stop itching for about two weeks! I contacted the management and they lied and said this was the first they had ever heard of something like this in their hotel, There are a few reports of bed bugs on Trip Advisor about this hotel where they specifically said they told the front desk! It seems as if they are doing nothing about it!

Stayed at Hotel Adagio the night of 11/4/10. Found a bedbug walking across the white tile in the bathroom on 11/5. Having dealt with bedbugs in the past, I immediately identified the bug. The hotel was slow to react and did not do anything to make sure I was bedbug free.

Last year, bugs on the 1st, 4th and 5th floors were treated. Bugs are now in a 6th floor unit. Management is treating reported problems, but not being proactive about thoroughly inspecting all building units to solve the problem, since bugs are clearly moving through walls.

Suffered 6 months of bites and finally called a pest control who brought a dog to sniff the apartment. They laid traps and only found one, which means the bugs were coming in from an adjoining apartment. They sprayed our apt. 3 times and after the 3rd treatment I still received a bite, they sprayed one more time and moved.

I never thought bed bugs were real until my family and I spent 1/2 a day at this hotel. we started itching all over as soon as we laid down for bed, i turned on the lights and there were bugs all over the bed and walls. We accidentally ended up bringing them home with us, its been two years and we still cant ger rid of them, we have spent at $1,000 all together and nothing we still have them and i don't know what else to do.

I used to live in the penthouse level about a year ago. When moving out, to my shock, I found a bedbug infestation on the rug under my mattress and the mattress itself. Shockingly I had not been bitten, but my girlfriend had and we thought it was allergies. Anyway, I truly doubt the management has taken care of this, and if anything the problem might have spread.

Dates: June-July 2010 Have stayed here several times in the past, but this summer, the room was infested with bed bugs. Nothing worse than waking up and seeing those little bloated creatures crawling on my pillow and bed, then smashing them and watching my own blood spill out, not to mention the bites. Reported to the management, who contracted a traditional pest control company for treatment. The problem got a bit better, but within days, they were back. Unfortunately,we had paid in advance for a month so we were stuck there. Near the end of our stay, the maids spotted the bugs and sprayed all kinds of toxic bug sprays in the room - on the carpet and mattresses. I believe the bugs were in the mattresses even though the hotel had covered the mattresses in plastic. A most unpleasant experience.
