On 11/5/23 I found a bed bug on my bed in room 11276. I took photos and immediately reported it to the front desk. They moved me to another room on a different floor and had me complete an incident report. I explained that I wanted all my clothes cleaned and heat treated, but was extremely disappointed with the way the hotel has addressed this situation. I was hoping at the very least the hotel would have properly cleaned and returned my belongings. Instead, all of my clothes were careless crumpled into a ball and stuffed into my suitcase, including expensive suits and jackets. My shoes were also thrown into the suitcase and created marks on my clothes. The clothes did not smell clean so I don't believe they were washed as I requested. Furthermore, I was told my clothes would be returned to my new room at 10:30 pm that day. I stayed awake waiting for my clothes when I would have otherwise been sleeping. No one showed up and it was only this morning when I called the front desk that my clothes were delivered. The staff seemed to doubt my report when I discussed the incident at the front desk, despite the photographic evidence. There is no question that there were bed bugs in my room.
