Long Beach Inn Motel
2900 E. Pacific Coast Hwy
Long Beach, CA
Room Number: 109
We initially stayed in Room 119 but asked to moved closer to the office for better Wi-Fi connection. It was several days after we moved to Room 109 that we started noticing rashes on our son and ourselves. We thought it was chicken pox or an allergic reaction. On Jan 18th the doctor confirmed that it was rashes from bed bug bites. We informed management that our room was infested with bed bugs but he blew us off and stated that we've been staying too long and asked us to leave and claimed that we are retaliating against him. We stated, and were adamant, that we JUST came back from the doctor who confirmed it was bed bugs and not something else before we brought it to his attention. He and his wife forced us to leave the motel that night.

North Point Apartments
5443 N. Paramount Blvd
Long Beach, CA
This apartment complex had bed bugs. Management will call an exterminator BUT will not take responsibility of the problem. My mattresses were brand new and my family and I were being bit. After complaining to management she made it seem as though this was the first report. After going to the laundry room and speaking with others I found several apartments had been trested for bed bug infestation!

Beverly Plaza Apartments
5050 E Garford St
Long Beach, CA
There have been a number of tenants reporting bed bugs in various buildings. There are also infested mattresses and furniture sitting out by the dumpsters. Management doesn't seem to be doing anything about it, so the problem is only getting worse.

Colonial Pool and Spa Motel Long Beach
802 E. Pacific Coast Highway
Long Beach, CA
Room Number: 128, 127, 157
I was vouchered to the colonial motel on pacific coast highway. in room 128 there were roaches so they moved me to 128 right next door. I thought it was much better till i started getting bit. My neck and arms were swolen. I found a bed bug showed it to the management. They moved me to another room 157. Due to me being paranoid and itching I didnt get any sleep that night. In the morning I found another bed bug on the table and in my nephews cereal. I called the office and they said they would check but we had to check out at 11. Prior to that morning the office called and told us to get our things out of 128 because housekeeping would clean up the room. We refused due to the traveling of bed bugs and informed them we would get our things in the morning. We feel that they will not call pest control and will just spot clean and offer the room to another vouchered guest or paying customer. They were rude... non accommodating to our needs and now i have to was all our things that was just washed the day before. I will never recommend this motel. Bad service.
