Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

ï¿½From: All directions. From 405 South or 405 North, 605 South, 22 West. Take Exit 7th Street west 22 Long Beach. Go to Bellflower turn left and go to Pacific Coast Highway turn left. The Best Western Golden Sails Hotel is less than a mile on your left.

Room 119; 12/04/2018; 12/05/2018 and 12/06/2018: Hrs. 11:45 a.m., 8:00p.m., and 11:30p.m.. The initial report was with housekeeping; then to "Acting Supervisor, "Ed." After an unsuccessful attempt to call me back and visit the room, I went to the front desk and complained. I brought photographic evidence to show the hotel supervisor that the room was heavily infested with roaches and bed bugs. I was bitten in the upper right quadrant of my shoulder. No other rooms was purportedly available. I was offered a refund of two days plus dinners, upon check-out. I was told that I would be emailed for details. No refund or compensation was provided until I did a Google Maps rating, and uploading photos. About a month later, a $220 credit was returned to my Credit Card. No apologies were ever made.
