Arrived late at night on business trip. Pulled the sheets back and found a dead bug on the mattress under all the covers/sheets/mattress cover. Looked like a little dead cockroach so I just ignored it since nothing else was seen by the plain eye. Next morning I woke and had bites all down my left leg. Checked out of hotel and checked in to the Embassy Suites down the road. They responded to the complaint with an apology, refund and said, "I have been informed by the chief of engineering that the room our guest stayed in, Is free and clear of any said Bed Bugs." I cannot guarantee that it was bed bugs, but I wish I had saved the little body and I definitely got bit up by something. Nonetheless, I am washing all of my clothes in hot water and doing a double run on dryer as suggested by many websites before I check in at the other hotel. I do not want to take anything home with me.
