We moved in the first of February and found bugs the 14th. We hadn't had bugs before in either of our old places, our former roommates don't have any, but the management is refusing to do anything about it and says we brought them in. I've got numerous bites and we've collected a bag of begs. We've been doing as much prevention as we can without hiring an exterminator, (we feel the management should)but they continue to persist. We can't find where they're coming from, although we've seen a number of mattresses and couches thrown away within the first few weeks of moving in and the unit next to us was vacated as soon as we arrived, and then then they tore out the floors and renovated it. Worst thing is, they're trying to rent it out without even knowing if we've done anything about the bugs. We just got married in the middle of this so it's been hard to address it, but we continue to find bugs and have bites. It's miserable and the management continues to refuse to do anything. Don't ever, ever rent here. Find a good landlord and don't mess with property management, it's not worth it. The bugs could be all over the place within weeks and they haven't done anything about it.It's miserable and I naively assumed it was a decent place to rent.

Feb 9th and 10th, 2012 stay at the Royal Garden Inn room 117

My wife and Grand Daughter have been ill since we left the hotel, My Grand Daughter missed a day of school today with server pain, flue like symptoms with 10 bites on her arms and legs. Her mother is looking for oatmeal bath to relieve the itching right now. My wife just put on a bag of frozen vegetables to relieve the burn and itch, she has been ill all day at work. She is taking off Valentines day as she is too ill with flue symtoms, and is now taking Benadryl and using a Benadryl type lotion. She works for the US Veterans Administration and she will not be able to give a good report about HOTELS.COM as we have had no response from our messages CUSTOMER SERVICE.

My boyfriend and I stayed in room 1 for a few days and I got several bites on my hand, ankles, neck, shoulder and near armpit. After we realized what the bites were we informed the manager (Arthur) and he said that the room we stayed in has not had that issue and then accused us of bringing them in, which neither of us had had bites ever before! after researching them we found out that they can spread though the building fast from other rooms.We left early and did not get any refund for the day we left. We bagged all of our things to wash and dry on high heat as well as took showers. The incident was very inconvenient, we lost time and money! I really hope none came with us!

Building is infested. Manager/owner will not take proper steps to render the situation. So far, I have lost almost everything, it sickens me. In all of my life, I have never dealt with a situation like this.This has caused a lot of anguish upon my family. I challenge anyone to face something like this, one of the hardest things you will ever do, thanks for reading.

I noticed bed bugs crawling in the hallways and all over. There are spaces under the doorways I started getting bit and noticed multiple other residents that had bites all over their bodies. There is a major infestation hundreds can be seen at any given time. There is nothing really being done about it and nobody cares enough to come in and say something should be done about it. This is something that should be looked into when it is this bad the building should be forced to shut down and the owner forced to make things right. I know some might think the residents here currently did this but that is not the case I was not told about the bed bugs when I moved in and was told by other residents on other floors they had been dealing with it for years now and just could not get rid of them but cant afford to move either. I dont know what else to do it is causing a strain in my marriage and I dont want to end up divorced because of this is there no end in sight to these bloodsucking bugs?

Recently stayed in the Baymont hotel and found a bed bug crawling on the bed. I placed a cup over the bug to trap it and proceeded to report the incident to the front desk. The front desk clerk was not very helpful and handled the situation poorly. I was disappointed, disgusted and unable to sleep comfortably in the room I was reassigned to.

Some of the Units have a severe infestation. When I approached management, they informed me that the only way for bed bugs to infest apartments is for the residing tenant to bring them in, and that I would be responsible for the costs of pest control. Later, I learned that several other tenants on my floor also had reported bed bug problems before I moved in. The problem was sooo bad, there was no safe place to sleep (they even got at me sleeping in the bathtub!) I ended up moving out and leaving all my belongings. The problem has not resolved, even 2 years later as of the last time I spoke with anyone still residing there. They also have a terrible cockroach issue.
