Bed bugs in apt upstairs...neighbors moved, but bedbugs trekked to other apts nearby even though apt rep and pest control person said once the gel gets in walls, no more infestation.

Had to throw away tons of designer clothing and my son's bedding, mattress and my living room furniture. I am moving and now have to start from scratch becuase I don't want to infest the new house I am moving to. I will never live in an apt community again!!!

It's emabrrassing that my son has sores on his skin and my cat has a huge sore from the bed bugs biting him!!!

Manager has done nothing. Will call city health dept tomorrow to report their negligence...

Both of my kids began itching and all areas of their legs and arms not covered by clothing are bitten up. Due to a delay we stayed only 6 hours that evening at westin. Housekeeping manager and hotel manager still haven't called back. Pics available. Going to pediatrician tomorrow.

I'm currently staying at the sleep in motel last night I was watching tv when I saw something move on the pillow next to me I turned the lights on to find bugs on my pillows I started killing them but took one to the front desk and the man there said it was just a beetle I had never seen a bed bug before so I didn't know but I told him I wanted a different room and he gave me one I googled bed bugs today and guess what its the same thing I was killing last night I showed the same guy what I found on google and he told me I was wrong and said a bed bug gets no larger than a pin head even though I was showing him pictures and info saying otherwise now I'm stuck here for the rest of the week cuz the company I work for paid for the motel and if the employees here deny what happend then I won't get a refund if I get bit tonight I'm sueing

There were bed bugs along the bed board in the pillows I reported it to the night clerk who told me they had incidents in January of 2011 regarding bed bugs.

1st night was 05-23-2011 woke with 3-5 red bites the diameter of a dime on arms and legs. 2nd night 05-24-2011 woke with additional bites totaling 25-30, this time on forehead, back of neck, arms, legs, back, and one finger. Met tactfully with desk manager to not alarm other guests. Displayed bites on my arms and asked to check-out. Desk manager mentioned she would not charge for the additional nights I originally booked, and I mentioned that I felt that due to my inconvenience of having to see a pharmacist, purchase ointments, sterilization of my clothing and suitcase, that I shouldn’t need to pay for the previous two nights either. She promptly credited me for the 2nd night and couldn’t do anything for the 1st night without the manager’s approval – who was out until the 28th of May. This is my second experience with bed bites at this hotel and will not ever stay there again!

At 2:00 AM today I was reading in bed at this hotel and I saw a bedbug crawling over my legs on top of the covers. I called the front desk and the manager offered to change rooms. I said OK, packed and waited for security to bring me a key. The security officer arrived and confirmed it was a bedbug. Although I understand that bedbugs are more and more common and not the fault of the hotel, I decided to find another hotel immediately. The front desk manager could not have been more helpful. She was polite, took responsibility and was very helpful in finding me a new hotel. (So was the security officer.)Once I got to my new hotel I Googled "bedbugs" and the images definately matched what I saw in the bed. Later in the day I spoke with the General Manager. He said they had the room inspected by a professional and that the bug I saw was a "spring bug" and not a bedbug. I Googled Spring Bug and there is no such thing. He also said the "spring bug" must have flown into the room. The bug I saw did not have wings. "Spring bug" is a general term used to describe bugs that tend to come out in the springtime. I really don't appreciate being lied to. Shame on the GM for not taking responsibility. I do not deserve being lied to. And if he cannot admit there are bedbugs, do you think he's treating the hotel for them?

I stayed in room 203 for 4 days in November 2010. After the second night I had a couple of bites(thought it was mosquito bites). After the third night I had well over 20 bites on my arms, legs, and stomach. this property needs to be cleaned.
