We came in for Parents Weekend. Laying in bed reading when i saw a red dot crawl across the pillow. I smashed it. It had bitten me because it was all bloody. Saw several more. We were moved to another room. I thought it was ok til this evening my daughter said she saw one on her bed. Parent weekend!! No other rooms in town. I have stayed in a lot of rooms all across the country. Never had a problem with bed bugs.

I checked into room 128 at 6:30 pm on April 7, 2011. I fell asleep on the bed watching TV at 7:30 pm and awoke at 10:30 pm because my arm was itching... felt like fire. I went into the bathroom, turned on the lights and could see 5-7 fresh, whit-ish itche bumps "coming up" on my left forearm. I inspected the bed for fleas, saw nothing so went back to sleep. I awoke 30 minutes later @ 11 pm with burning & itching on the back of my neck. I had more bites [35 all together on my neck, head, face, arms, ear and hands. I did see a small flat oval shaped critter under the pillow. I immediately checked out and went to another motel. The next morning I went back and saw the manager who was not helpful. Other patrons in the parking lot of the motel told me they were also bitten during the night. I sought medical care and was confirmed to have bed-bug bites! My wife notified the Brazos Co. and Texas state health departments.
