around 2 am 11/5/2010 woke up and found 2 small bugs on nightstand. contacted front desk and they offered to move us. 71 yr old mom was sleeping so i figured we would just stay put. did not think much about it. hung do not disturb sign only to be violated by housekeeping as they entered while my 16 yr old daughter was dressing with the exterminator to insist on spraying due to report of bugs last night. found another bug the next night. wondered if bed bugs. complained to GM gave one night "free". called hotel on 11/8/2010, left a pair of shoes there. GM offered to mail for me. i also asked about bed bugs. GM advised reports in Myrtle beach are but not at this hotel. paranoid i had been sure to wash everything and hoped they were not bed bugs. 11/15/2010 1 am -16 yr old just woke me up-"mommy I just found one of those bugs in my bed from the hotel". i have it in a baggie and I am doing laundry AGAIN. I plan to call GM tomorrow to advise. Still haven't received credit for that "free" night yet. Booked through Hotels.com-they must save the special rooms for the cheaper rates.
