We found 3 bedbugs in the bed sheets upon getting into bed for the evening. We reported it immediately, and were given another room on a different floor. The night manager provided a roll of plastic bags to put our luggage into, so as not to contaminate our new room or our car. I have been told that we will not be charged for our night at the hotel.

We don't have any bites on us that we can see, and have laundered our belongings in hot water and put them into a hot dryer. I threw away the luggage and am being vigilant at home to hopefully avoid these nasty creatures from infesting our own beds.

The hotel manager and exterminator have talked to me and everyone handled everything as professionally as possible. They reported that the area behind the headboard was lightly infested, but no other areas of the room appeared to be inhabited by bed bugs. I will obviously be really upset and traumatized if we get bedbugs into our house, but it's too soon to tell if they came home with us. The staff seemed to think our chances of bringing the bugs home was pretty small since we caught the problem early. They consider this a small infestation, but I consider it a really big problem, as did the local exterminator who I talked to. So disgusting and unfortunate to deal with this. I'm having a really hard time with the anxiety!

Stayed one night, on 2/18. I'm in the habit of checking the bed and mattress cover when I check into a hotel. I checked the mattress at the head of the bed and the cover in the first third of the bed but, this time, I didn't check the bottom.

Today, my legs are covered in bites (Yes, it usually takes a few days for them to show up). Nowhere else, but they really feasted on my lower legs.

The hotel is kind of run down, and since it is right on I95 it gets a lot traffic, so I'm not so surprised. Next time, I'll check the entire bed!

When we showed the manager, the bugs in the bed he smooshed them saying "this is just dirst left over from the maids cleaning" and said "we don't have bed bugs"...we were initially moved from 144 to 148 because it was infested with roaches and bed bugs...the bed bugs in Rm 148 is even worse and have nowhere to sleep tonight. Manager will not refund money
