Stayed a few hours in this motel. Had to stay the night because i was too tired to drive back to Maryland. Woke up in the morning and had bites on me. As the day progressed, i had more than twenty bites all over my body. Called and told management and they said Thank you and that's it.

Moved in March 1st 2012. Woke up itching March 2nd. Started noticing bite marks and rashes. Started seeing unidentifiable bugs. Researched the bites and bugs and found out they were bed bugs and bed bug bites. Reported to onsite manager and she sent onsite maintenance to get rid of the bugs. Didn't work. I showed manager more bites and captured bugs after onsite maintenance did their spray. Was told a professional would come take care of the problem. The professional never showed up on the supposed date. I then contacted the property owners management arm and told them what was going on. The district manager for the area I live in contacted me back and got a real professional out to spray the place. I still found bugs for days after the place was sprayed. I was also bit again after the professional came. It takes more than one treatment to get rid of the bugs. I'm logging this account for future residents of this apt. I was advised not to move out until the full process of the treatment is finished. The exterminater did say that even after a treatment you can still be bit due to eggs may hatch. I'm living in fear. Can't sleep. Feel like something is always crawling on me. I'm constantly checking the floors, walls and ceilings whenever I move thru the apt. It's horrific. The manager wrote me an email and said sorry for the inconvenience this has caused my family and I. The bites have left permanent physical and mental scars on our bodies and our minds. There are no scar remover treatments that can take these scars off our bodies. They will always be present and visible and causing some kind of disturbance in my physical appearance and mental health. Whether it be a constant reminder of being attacked in my sleep when I see the scars on my body or someone asking where did those scars come from causing me to relive it over and over and over again. I don't think the severity of the damage and impact bed bugs and bites can cause on a person and or a family's life is truly understood or felt until it happens to you personally. Especially for those who already live with mental disorders such as depression, schizophrenia and or any other mental illness to begin with. When a manager or landlord rents/leases an apt, they are knowing the place is infested and then tries to fix it after you move in, the law shouldn't stop at well they tried to fix the situation so just forget about it and go on with your life. I can't just forget about it and go on with my life. I'm haunted by it everyday.

There were two qween size beds. We sow bedbugs on both bed. My daughter and I shared a bed and we got bites but my hudsband. We talked to the manager and she told us that she will call the extermination company. ( I am not sure it really happened.) We felt that the hotel stuff are not helpful at all.

Spent the night, woke up with welts and itchy the next morning, thought nothing of it. The next night actually woke up near dawn and found bed bugs on me. I reported to the management they refunded my money and requested I not share this information. 10-21-10

Spent 2 nights, on the third night was itching so bad I couldn't sleep. My girlfriend rolled over because I was complaining about itching and actually saw a bedbug on my back. After killing it, we went to the front desk, they refunded our money and asked us not to report this incident. Oct. 21 - 23, 2010
