I have been staying in the Days Inn for a couple of weeks on business. I started getting bits on my arms and hands. They moved my room 434 to 432. The problem only got worse. They moved me into another room and then said they would call the exterminator. They never came. From what I saw they changed the sheets and rented out the rooms again. I am now in room 422 and I have new bits. I am reporting this problem to the health department, suing for any medical bills and having this place shut down!!!!!

I woke up with bed bug bites on my face and neck and shoulders. This was the classic three bite pattern. I think they were in the wood of the headboard. The mattress and box spring were sealed in zip cases (indicating the bed bug problem had been brought to their attention previously and remediaion attempted). I only stayed one night. I was on the third floor

Stayed in room 328 in Feb 2011 and woke up with bites on my face, neck and arms!!!! I caught a HUGE bedbug scurrying across the pillow of the 2nd bed in the room and killed the 2 little ones I found under my pillow! Took the captured one (still alive) to the front desk. The gentleman there was very nice and promptly contacted management. They were really nice and apologetic and refunded me a portion of my stay. Unfortunately, I have to stay in hotels another week and seeing the bugs and dealing with the horrible bites has TOTALLY freaked me out! I still can't sleep well!!! The Hotel gets good points though for excellent customer service.

Room Number: 310 and 322
I stayed in 310 for about a week and noticed several bites on my arm and by my stomach. I knew very well they were bed bug bites b/c i used to live in a bed bug infested apt. in NY a few years ago and know exactly what the bites look like. I was fortunate enough that I quickly reported this to the front desk of the hotel. Maintenance called in a technician and they confirmed it was bed bugs. A few were discovered behind the bed frame and a small colony in the box spring. They switched me to room 322 for the night until the technician can treat the other room the next day. Unfortunately, room 322 must have had bed bug b/c i was bitten in the middle of the night in a new area which i began scratching immediately. I checked out that very same morning and was reimbursed for any damages by their insurance company.
