I saw a bed bug in the room and came home with numerous bites. I called Best Western to file a report and was told the Manager would call back in 2 days. Three days later still had not heard from her so I called again. She is refunding the cost of the room but denies she has bed bugs. She just repeats over and over again that she does not have bed bugs. It is going to cost me $2000.00 to have my home heat treated to get rid of bugs. She kept saying they get sprayed regularily but obviously not often enough or well enough.

Stayed one night and my daughter had bites on her leg. I spotted a bed bug crawling across the mattress, killed it with a tissue and it was filled with blood. I showed it to the manager, who said they don't have bed bugs. I informed her that I wasn't staying there another night and they didn't charge me for my room. Will not stay there again.

I checked in on Nov 24, 2010. The room appeared less than clean. I pulled back the mattress and inspected the box spring.

Ugh! A LIVE bed bug on the edge of the box spring! I squashed it with a tissue, leaving the tissue on the box spring, and the mattress still pulled back.
