Our company booked us a block of room while we were on detail 10/16/2011 to 11/01/2011. The first night a girl claimed she saw bed bugs and had photos of them. She sent the photos to her friend at the EPA who said they were bed bug but then she stayed there for a week after this incident. After a week she left without any marks on her. A few days later nothing girl ended up going to the doctor with a rash and bites all over her body. They said it was bed bugs. She told out managers what happened and they had us spray our stuff down, place clothing in the driers for 30 minutes on high, and store everything in plastic bags. They then moved us out of the hotel and into another for the remainder of our stay. Only the two girls had issues and the hotel confirmed there were bed bugs in their room. However, as we were checking out the hotel was still checking people in and not telling them about the possibility of bed bugs. I understand just because they are in one or two rooms does not mean they are in all rooms but guest should be warned two bed bugs complaints were files in less than a week.
