I booked a room at the Hampton Inn on Saturday, March 6th, 2011. I checked the room for bedbugs upon arrival and didn't find any. About an hour later, we spot one on the comforter near the pillow and one walking across the bed towards the bottom! We put one in a plastic bag and brought it to the desk clerk. They were very kind and apologetic and gave us a new room, but I felt too creepy-crawly to stay. It turns out that the hotel had the very same room treated one month earlier by Terminix. If I had known, I never would have stayed! I understand it takes more than one treatment, anyway.
