THIS IS THE BEDBUG PALACE.
Woke up at 2:45 a.m. with the sensation of something crawling on me. Turned on the lights and found one on my shoulder, three on my legs. Pulled back the sheets and found about a dozen just wandering around on the sheets where I had been laying. Found one on my pillow. Several underneath the pillow. Pulled back the mattress about a foot, and saw a small colony of them partying hearty on the box springs.
The night clerk came to my room with a styrofoam plate, and proceeded to pick up a few and plunk them on the plate. Then he tried to tell me they were spiders! After I told him that I think I knew better, he said that no one had complained before. That was nothing short of an infestation - so there is NO way they could NOT know about this.
And why is it that he thought that telling me that the bed was infested with hundreds of spiders would be any more comforting???
