Well checked in room, and it did not look dirty,so I got my bags,took a shower and went to dinner,got back and since I travel alot hit room up with some nix,be bug spray,but was off my game,forgot to check the bed,went to bed, got woke up by something eating on me, pulled my sheet off and to my surprise, bed bug,found they had been there a while,was in mattress every where, moved mattress and also found dirty laundry,stuck behind head of mattress,I grabbed up my gear and went to office,they wanted to give me a new room,but I checked out never to return again....

This is by far the worst hotel I have every stayed in. Like one of the previous reviewers, I woke up to find bed bugs in my bed in room 324. The front desk staff looked at the bed bugs and insisted that this has never occurred at this hotel before. I was moved to another room. Unfortunately, I am allergic to bed bug bites, and had to go to the emergency room later that day. The owner/manager of this hotel was very unprofessional in discussing this issue. He refused to refund the entire room fee, saying that he would give me 50% of the refund as he "needed to be sure if the bugs that were found in the room were supposed to be there." What bugs are supposed to be in your bed? He also seemed extremely inconsiderate when I informed him about the clothes I had to throw away (as they were stained with bed bugs), the additional laundry I had to do, and the fact that I went to the emergency room. He didn't apologize once when I called him, said that he would not reimburse me for any of my items that were lost due to bed ... I have every stayed in. The Air Force put me at this hotel because I was at Wright-Patterson AFB for training the next few days. Fortunately, I was able to inform the base about my experience and see their doctors during my emergency room visit. They subsequently initiated a public health inspection and found this hotel "not be recommended to be continued on contract quarters." Therefore, the Air Force will not be using this hotel to house its airmen when the on-base quarters are unavailable. Also, Montgomery County was also notified about the bed bugs. After the Air Force inspection, the owner of the hotel gave me back my room fee for the one night, still insisting that all rooms are maintained. All in all, I was very, very dissatisfied with my stay at this hotel, and my conversations with its management. My experience has even given me doubts about their entire chain. For future reference, I also took a video and several pictures of the bed bugs in the event that more proof is necessary about the bugs' existence. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. Also, the hotel manager refunded all but $0.99 of my hotel bill. He has continued to be extremely difficult to deal with regarding this issue.

I had an inspection as soon as I moved into my apartment because my daughter was getting bit. They found nothing.. 3 months later we started getting bit again. I then located 2 baby bed bugs & 1 big bed bug. My apartment complex is refusing to have the apartment sprayed at their cost. Can someone assist?

Girlfriend and I paid for a week and woke to being eaten and bitten by bed bugs they refuse to move us to another room and will not refund our money!! Management said it wasnt their problem

My kids and i went to stay here because our electric was out. I looked at the mattress first thing when we entered the room and there was a dead bed bug in the first place i looked. I went to the front desk with the bed bug in the room key envelope and dumped it on the counter. The desk clerk told me that the bed bug looked "old" and that they wouldn't charge my credit card. We left immediately and slept in our cold, electric less house.

I have a relative who has lived there almost 2 years. Management came in almost a year ago and checked, told my relative they were on a list to have the problem taken care of. Still haven't come in to take care of the bugs.

Awoke by being bitten by bedbugs. Pulled sheets back and bed was covered with the bedbugs! Called front desk and they immediately moved me to another room. They did not charge me that night.

Addendum to this complaint, received this email on Sept 14, 2010:
Your site currently lists the Fairfield Inn - Dayton North located at 6960 Miller Lane in Dayton, Ohio as having bed bugs. Please take down this listing immediately as the hotel does not have issues with bed bugs. That report was maliciously sent to your site by a disgruntled former employee< and it has no basis in fact. Was told earlier today 9-9-10 by a neighbor on the third floor of the building that her apartment had been infested by bedbugs, and assume that they came from the apartment next to hers that had recently been vacated. She said she had contacted the management company and they were aware of the problem. As a tenant, we had received no notice of any problems. The management company is located at 250 E. Jamestown Circle, Centerville, Ohio 45458 (American Mgt. Rental Properties).
