I moved into this apt about three months ago. Since the second night we lived here we started getting bit and told the landlord immediately. He gave us a can of bedbug spray that he already had on hand, so he already knew about the infestation. We've been professionally sprayed twice now but it has actually made the problem worse. The problem is its an old building with gaps in the floorboards so wide you can put your finger in them. When they spray one apt the bugs just go to the nextapt for a night or two then they come back with a vengeance. This building if full of section 8 and disabled people who probably are afraid of losing their place to live over it that they are not reporting it to the landlord. Don't move to the corner of pearl and pine streets in manchester.

To the wonderful tenant of Hillview, since you know me so well let's clarify a few thins first i lived in Hillview for six years with any bedbugs...amazing but I was bringing them in the building? I have documentation that states wheat apartments they came from. second there are now three buildings being treated for bed bugs. building 199 is still being treated 6 months after I have left. Pretty sad when the Alderman comes into the property to let the manager know that the issue is not be treated efficiently, that the problem would have been eridicated along time ago if it was being treated effectively.Over a year and a half and the bedbugs are still thriving!!!

This whole building is infested and the landlords never told me. Tried to tell me we must have brought them, then within a month of them spraying my place unsuccessfully because you can't just treat one apartment. The apartment next door started to throw out furniture that was so infected it was almost black from blood stains. So clearly this issue had been in this building for a while. They have their so called worker now spraying my apartment instead of having the pest people spraying, all my stuff wil have to be thrown out thanks to their negligence!

Afriend living at caddilac has a neighbor with bed bugs and the land lord told multiple times that proffesional help eas coming. the bugs are still there and spreding fast. is there a legal way to forcing the landlord to take care of this

I read the bed bug report and I wanted to clarify with anyone who reads it that I know the person who wrote that statement. I live in the same building there is actually 24 units in each building and the landlord was very helpful in solving the problem. The resident who wrote the statement was one of the people bringing it in. I would like to thank them for the job they did!

I have lived for quite some years and last year two families moved into my building which houses 35 units. They let the problem fester and the whole building became infested. I have been treated 9 times and recently found another one. The landlord does three apts at a time chasing the parasites into other units. I have had a constant battle with the landlord about the situstion to no avail. I am moving, one month left and i have to pay $1000.00 to eradicate the problem with heat theraphy for all of my furniture new furniture at that. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED STAY AWAY FROM HILLVIEW!! When you complain they point the finger at you and to top it all off they do not inform the potential tenants that there bedbugs in the building.

Stayed there for 1 night on 10/27/10 and had around 30-40 bed bug bites the next morning.

Have since checked other online reviews, and have seen other reports of bed bugs for this hotel.

On April 2010, upstairs tenants report bed bugs to landlord and first floor tenants. Landlord waited to 3 months and evicted upstairs tenants before contacting an exterminator on June 2010. Since June, the exterminator has been here 4 times and with no real result in eradication of the bed bugs. The landlord is unwilling to continue treatment or try heat treatment and is ready to rent upstairs apt. To anyone who will read this, do not rent at 384 or 386 Kelley street unless you enjoy bed bugs. Landlord in un-cooperative and will not be willing to treat.

Upstairs Neighbor reported bed bugs in April 2010. The landlord waited 3 months to evict the upstairs tenants before contacting and exterminator in June or 2010. Since this time, the bugs had traveled to the first floor apt. and is currently a problem. Exterminators have been here 4 times since June with no eradication of bugs. We are super clean and living out of trash bags to keep our clothes clean and prevent the bugs from crawling in. The landlord is not cooperating and we will be looking into a suit against him for "quiet enjoyment" - demanding rent money with the knowledge of a serious violation of housing and city codes and doing nothing to eradicate the issue. Please, anyone who reads this, do not rent at 386 or 384 Kelley Street Manchester NH. (384 is same building just a different number. 384 is upstairs apt unit). DO NOT RENT THIS APT EVER!! PLEASE STAY AWAY BECAUSE WE ARE LEAVING. THANK YOU
