while on business,i checked into rm113,after visual confirmation of infestation the GSR gave me a new room(107)...Unfortunately room113 was re-rented 1 hour later.A letter to the regional manager explaining such horrible business practice reaped a 'vanilla' weak response...Good Luck with this Mgtmt. style!!

Noticed bed bugs on brand new couch. Contacted landlord. They came out while I was not present & stated they seen no presence of bed bugs, although I had caught the bed bugs on the couch & had the containers visible near couch to prove what I caught was q bed bug. Supposedly the exterminator told landlord @ visit what was caught was a bed bug but there was no presence of infestation on the couch or in apartment. & I must have brought them in. He would not pay for treatment or allow me to break my lease. I have bought several over the counter products in which none seem to work. The landlord suggested I pay 500 to the exterminator & he will treat the problem, although they found nests of eggs or bed bugs in all apartments in building.

We stayed at room 131 in the middle of September. The first night we stayed there, I woke in the middle of the night with itchy bug bites on my feet. The bites itched so bad, that I had cut my skin itching in my sleep. This process was repeated for several days, with me getting less and less sleep, until I realized that the bug bits I was getting over my legs, back, and feet were coming from something in the room. I alerted the hotel manager that I believed there was a bedbug infestation, and he had an exterminator come out. The exterminator checked the bed, but was unable to find any of the bugs. He said that just because he was unable to find them, did not mean that they were not there, and he would recommend that the room be treated. The hotel manager asked us for all of our clothes so that he could have them washed so that we did not bring any of the bedbugs back with us. He took our clothes, but they were not washed, just put in a dryer for a few minutes. I do not know whether or not the room was truly treated, as we left that night to find a different hotel, after the hotel manager refused to return any further calls we had made to him regarding our concerns.

My daughter and I were both bitten by bed bugs at this hotel. I had a reaction from them and ended up in the emergency room. My 3 year old has scars.Because of itching the bites and is still having nightmares.
