We were in room 223 for a short time, and found a bed bug crawling across the bed pillow. I had already checked the mattress edges, and found none there....so was surprised to find this, and confirmed it by online pictures. I am totally creeped out, and only hope we got out of there without any crawling into our clothes or luggage.

Stayed there Friday and Saturday nights, the 18th and 19th. Noticed bites during the day on Saturday, but did not consider the bed bug possibility until I got home and continue to wake up with more bites.

Got up to use the restroom middle of nite and felt an itch on my arm and leg which revealed itself to be welt/bites when I turned on the light. Lifted my blanket and saw a freakin Bed Bug! Caught it and flushed it. Later realized I should have kept it as evidence and found about 5 bites total on arm, legs and neck.

My wife & I intented to stay at this hotel 9/3 & 9/4 but ended up departing early due to her discovering a little bugger running across her pillow. We promptly packed & were driving away w/one night's refund within 20 minutes. We placed the offending specimen in a ziplock baggie on a white piece of paper so it could be used as evidence & easily identified. The clerk tried to give us a diff room @ 1/2 price & I sd, "No way Jose!". Our luggage is still outside on the front porch awaiting decontamination procedures which may include incineration.

Funny my previous post was somehow deleted. We stayed here as a stopover on our trip to wake up with bedbugs all over me. It was a nightmare and ruined the rest of our trip and some of luggage is still outside (months later) for fear to bring it in. Mgt refunded $ but no money in the world was worth that nightmare.

This place is overpriced and scruffy as hell but its location is awesome. However they also have bedbugs, I can only be sure it is in just the one room but by the number of bites on me and my wife i'd say the entire placec could be infested.

I know these things happen and that it is not the hotel's fault, but I judging by the amount of bites we got in the one night's stay I simply cannot believe they don't know this is going on which leads to conclude that they charged us about $100 for a room that they know is infested and for this I am VERY angry.

We had never stayed in a Country Inn & Suites before. We had a suite - room 513B in July 2010. We checked out, and were about an hour down the road when we started itching. We discovered that my husband had bites all over his body - he had slept under the sheets. I slept on top of the sheets and only had bites on my arms.

We did not know what they were from. When we arrived home in Ohio, we looked up bite pictures on the internet and discovered that they were bed bug bites. I called Country Inn & Suites three different times, but unfortunately the manager was not in any of the times that I called.

We washed everything thoroughly, but we had taken our computer bags and my purse in and our own pillows. We swept off all our suitcases and the computer bags etc. We were home for a couple of weeks before we saw a bug run across our couch. We caught it and called an exterminator who confirmed that it was in fact a bedbug. We through out our sectional couch and ripped out all the carpeting in our house. We threw out all our pillows. We bought new pillows and put the zipper covers on them. It has been almost 6 months and we have not seen another bug.

Staying at Country Inn & Suites has been the worst experience of my life.

I am writing this now because I just discovered this site and I want other people to know of the horrible conditions at that hotel.
