bedbug found by exterminator, marriot refused to check other rooms for possible further infestation, and also refused to cover medical expenses...stated the only way to get a room refund was for a liability waiver which allows them to not be responsible for any medical, pain and suffering. etc..,. Refusing to sign this waiver causes them to refuse any room refunds... AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS... THE ENTIRE COMPLEX COULD BE INFECTED... MARRIOT REFUSED TO CHECK OTHER ROOMS.

My family of four checked in to the Holiday Inn in Gaithersburg Maryland on August 18th. We returned to the room to sleep and when we pulled back the covers to get in we found bed bugs. There were some on the pillows and others dead both on the sheets and under the matress pad. We called the front desk to notify them of our findings and they did not seem surprised. Disgusted with what we found we proceeded to check out at 1:00 am in the morning. The next day we contacted them due to our concern about taking the bed bugs home with us. The manager did assist us by cleaning our bags and clothing for us. I will never stay at Holiday Inn again!

Checked into the hotel (4th floor) on 01/08/11 at about 11:30pm. Started to unpacked and went to charge cellphone using an outlet by one of the beds and saw a bed bug crawling on the side of the white sheet. I picked it up with toilet paper and killed it. Called the front desk and they moved me to a different room on the same floor. This is my 7th night in the room and have not seen a bed bug. However,there's a female staying on the same floor and been moved twice already and she has bites all over her.
