I contacted the office and they said they would refund my room charges (I have this on auido recording) but after I went and got air tight bage to move my clothes in they changed their mind and prorated the refund. The bed bud that was in bed with me I have in a ziplock bag I gave to the office they though it in the trash and after the refund I ask for it back they dug it out and gave it back. I then ask the handy man who check the room for more bugs if this was the one I showed him in my room on the table and he said yes. (I have this on auido as well. I fell sorry for all the small kids that is there because they are stuck and can't do anything about it. When I checked out they had no rooms left.

Myself (which we have moved since) & several friends that still live in the apt are having trouble actively fighting these bugs. At least 8 other apts of unknown neighbors had their apt treated just this week. We are now billed $200 per treatment by management with a min of 3 treatments for each apt that complains of bed bugs. I would move ASAP because at those rates the bugs are here to stay & management seems A-O.K. with that.

I checked into my room at the Comfort Suites 6535 Paramount Park Dr. Louisville Ky around 7:30 PM. I had work to do so I delayed my usual room inspection till later. When I came time to go to bed I inspected the bed. There were no Bed Bugs visible on the top of the bed under the sheet. There were not Bed Bugs in the seams of the mattress. I lifted up the mattress to look under it and on top of the bed skirt cover on top of the box springs I saw insects. I picked one up and compared it to some pictures I found on the internet. It was a bedbug. I took the bed bug to the assistant manager he neither agreed or denied it was a bed bug. I told him that I would go look for more. In the mean time his solution was to call up to my room and offer me some spray, Seems if they have spray they ave a problem. Upon further investigation the other bed in the room had silverfish living between the mattress and box springs along with what looked like insect feces. I am grateful I didn't take anything out of my suitcase. I gather my belongings and went down to the front desk and ask for the manager. He had left. I ask that my credit card be credited for the stay because I was leaving because of the problem. I was told by the desk clerk he was unable to do that. I gave him my phone number and told him to have the manager call me in the morning. That didn't happen. I phoned the hotel several times the next day and conveniently no one could talk to me they were in meetings.

i used to live in these apartments and they are loaded with bedbugs so bad they are even in the business downstairs, they are so bad i even carried them to my moms when i moved out which was very exspensive. thought people should know this before they rent in this building or go to this business before they carry them home to their house.

Stayed 8/29/11 and checked out 8/30/11. Noticed bite like marks/welts on body. Went to manager and informed them. They went to check and when I followed up two hours later they said they would take me up to check for bugs. There were no bugs however, the room was already cleaned and the bedding removed. Went to the hospital for consultation on welts on ankles, back legs, neck, arms. (About 45-50 welts). Doctor said they were bites and prescribed ointment for itching. Went to pick up ointment at Walgreen and noticed doctors office inside. Decided to get second opinion. She confirmed they were either Flee or bed bug bites. Am staying at a different location tonight taking antibiotics, cortisone cream and some other lotion. What a pain!!

After awaking the first morning my daughter had bites on her body. We thought she got bite by a spider but then a few more were on her the following morning. Over the next few days she thought she was having a reaction to the spider bites. They seemed to have gotten far worse and unstoppable itching. We sought our physician who confirmed the BED BUG BITES! This mother/ daughter Kentucky Derby Venture turned out to be a Nightmare... I want my $748. refund. That is the least the Super 8 Motel can do!

We checked in at 1:00am and went to got to bed around 3:00 am. One of the people i was with woke up with bugs on his head, and u could clearly see two bed bugs on pillow. Front desk would not refund money, and called us liars. Stay away this place is a landfill for bloody sheets and rotten matresses

I had payed for 2 nights at this hotel (via hotwire)... but after the first night... left and booked a night at the most expensive hotel in town... (losing my money for the second night at Fern Valley)

We went to Louisville, Kentucky for Thanksgiving and checked into the Comfort Inn at the Airport. We were assured there were no bed bugs. We were told that the inspector had been there just two days prior to our arrival. As many travelers are these days, we were very paranoid about getting bed bugs. We did the usual precautions of keeping our luggage off of the floor and hanging bags and other items on hangers in the closet. And thank goodness that we did. About 1:00 am I felt something on my neck. I turned on the light and there were at least 10 bed bugs on the bed. It was a nightmare for my husband and me. We packed up and went to the Courtyard Marriott nearby and did not find any bed bugs in our bed. However, I was so afraid of seeing them that I left a light on all night for the remainder of our visit. We are still using extreme precautions at home and carefully washing all clothing in hot water and using the high temperature for drying them. I am sure some of my clothes will be ruined due to the high heat, and we may have to purchase new luggage because we are not sure the best way to clean it. Hopefully, these extra measures will keep the bed bugs out of home. This problem needs to be addressed nationwide and measures taken to handle the onslaught of bed bugs in hotels and motels. It is going to destroy the travel industry. I know is has definitely ruined our future travel plans. I never want to have this experience again. I still wake up at night checking our bed to make sure we have not brought any into our home. I hope by bringing this problem to as many people as possible, they will not have the experience that we did and the hotel and motel chains will be more proactive taking measures to address this bed bug problem.
