I neglected to inform you the bug was still alive and the bluechip staff put the bug in a coffee cup and a plastic bag for a lid i was told that the bug was going to there Hotel Supervisor I have pictures of bug and bite... and they took pictures as well and they have the live bug I was evicted after filing the report with them sad so sad

At Approximately 1:45 in the Morning I not notified Supervisor Kate and Ms. Bridges there was a bug in my bed that bit me...
The manager immediately came up with a young lady from House Keeping ..Ms kate had never saw a bed bug and neither than I when she asked the house keeper if that was a bug She immediately replied yes..... I was moved to room 453 the new hotel the old hotel 605 where i was bite.
i was seen by an emt and then asked to to sign paper worker that would basicly say they where not responsible when i refused all kind drama happen..... The ambulance service came out and told me that no insurance company would pay for a bed bug bite....I didn't ask for any ones opinion i was sick got a fever i was throwing up and itching all i wanted was medical treatment ....Mind you i was paying with my insurance....when laporte refused i asked for casino supervisor who basically told me to drive my self mind you i am sick a shouting match broke out between me and the supervisor....eventually i was taken to the hospital 2hours after the bite and then I received a Letter from the Blue Chip Casino telling me I was Barred as a Matters of My Husband was also and He was at work at the time of the incident.... What are they covering up !!!!

This is not my report personally, but rather, one I found on bedbugregistry.com as I am looking to stay in Michigan City, IN, over Thanksgiving weekend 2010. It's worth sharing. Knights Inn Michigan City in 201 W Kieffer Rd Michigan City, IN 46360-9277 Found 1 report: Submitted by "Mippie" on 08/26/2010 Stayed here for one night, the next morning woke up with tons of small bites all over my arms and legs. So I checked the blankets and sheets and found tiny little blood spots all over them. Spoke with front desk and they denied and refused to refund me. I tried talking to the manager and he was very rude and hard to speak with.
