On October 1, 2011 my family and I moved to our new apartment. The building was nice, the tenants were nice, and we had a new unit that had new hardwood floors. The manager is a nice guy and we thought of nothing until we came back to the apartment that same night. The bed bugs began to spread out all over the walls and in the kitchen. What was worse was that the bed bugs were babies and my family was killing these bugs all night with no rest. I talked to the manager about the bed bugs and we were told that the entire building was treated with heat extermination of over 200 degrees fahrenheit and poison extermination. Apparently the bed bugs the building had could survive extreme heats and poison. I'm writing to let you know that anybody that wants to move into the apartment building better leave so that no one should have to go to the same problem we had. I had to throw away all my stuff and start new.

I JUST STARTED WORKING IN THIS HOTEL AND I NEVER REALIZED WHAT I WAS GETTING MY SELF INTO. FIRST DAY ON THE JOB I GOTA BEDBUG BITE, I TALKED TO SONNY AND HE SAID THEY WERE MOSQUITOS BITES AND DIDN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT SO ALL HIS EMPLOYEES END UP QUITTING. WE ENDED UP EXTERMINATING OUR HOMES AND GETTING RID OF ALL OUR SOFAS AND MATTRESSES WHAT A NIGNTMARE STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL

On August 6 2010 I checked into the Howard Johnson Addison O'Hare Airport Hotel.
I fell asleep shortly after checking in. My friend who stayed up later than me, got the chance to see the bed bugs in action... when she looked at me, I apparently had a bunch of bedbugs all over me. After waking me up, we inspected the room and found too many bed bugs all over the wall, ceiling and bed. It looked like the problem was old as well... there were a bunch of squished bed bugs on the wall!
I went to the main desk, explained the situation, and they immediately offered me another room at the upper level...meaning that they were well aware of the situation, but I refused to stay in the same hotel. They even offered me the jacuzzi suite. We asked them to book us a different hotel and pay for it because it is unacceptable to have Bed Bugs in the hotel... they did not seem to care about this...and after arguing until 5 in the morning, yes, 5!!! in the morning and speaking with the Manager on the phone, we left without any resolution. I ended up booking another hotel online and we checked in at 8:00 in the morning after waiting in the lobby for the room to be ready... yes, a true nightmare!
