On July 16, 2011 at 5:45 pm my friend and I checked into this Ramada. At 5:55 am on the morning of July 17, 2011 my friend was awaken by something bitting her in her sleep. She woke up to find four very large swollen bite marks on her right arm. There was a small blood spot on her white tshirt. She had killed the bed bug and it was still on her shirt leaking the blood it had drawn from her. She immediately wrapped the bug in tissue and reported it to the front desk. We were unable to get a new room due to hotel being filled to capacity. The worker assured us that he would inform the hotles manager upon his arrival at 8 am. For the remainder of our rest we had to sleep in the same bed but were unable to sleep comfortably due to the fear that there may be bugs in my bed as well. When we checked out, we spoke with the manager and he was unaware of the incident that had occured in our room that morning. My friend showed him the bug wrapped in the tissue and the bite marks on her arm. He was very apologetic and refunded our money.
