The resort spend thousands of dollors every year with a license exterminator. Part of the contract is for bed bug inspections. Any time a guest complains of being bitten the contractor is called and they respond as soos as possible to inspect the unit the guest complains about. The contractor strips the beds takes the bed apart and inspects using bright light to see if there are any signs of contamination. They not only look for bugs but also feeces from the bug. The staff at the Pink Shell takes all complaints very serious. In the few complaints that we have had from guest the results were provide to be negitive. Many peole do not realiZe that Florida is known for Mosquitos, and No Seemes. The bite this person has looks to be mosquito bites. This guest should have talked to the staff on this issue. The resort would have followed up with the guest and provided a copy of the inspection report from the exterminator. This is a very good Resort and the staff has the utmost concern for the good of the guest.
