Our recent stay at the Hyatt Summerfield Inn at Dania Beach FL turned out to be the most unpleasant bed bug attack disaster. We checked into room 320 on the evening of Dec 30th for one night. My daughter noticed a tiny bug on the comforter before sleeping. We were extremely tired and I was on a business call so went to bed. The next morning, my daughter and wife who slept in the bedroom were fully covered in bug bites. Since I slept in the sofa bed in the other room I escaped. How can a clean and well reputed establishment like Hyatt allow for such discomfort to their guests? We had to leave extremely early next morning to catch our flight back to Toronto, so we were in no mood to complain and argue with the staff. Now after a week we still feel like those creepy insect are crawling over us and biting us. I hope we did not bring them home, if we did, it is going to be a total nightmare trying to get rid of them. I would like Hyatt Summerfield to respond to this complaint and ensure that they clean up that room and any other room that may be infested.

I woke up in the morning and began scratching my leg. Realized that I had tiny bits on my leg and dried blood. I checked my bed later and found blood spots down by where my leg was. I showed the front desk that morning and they were pretty freaked out but never did recieve all call as promised from the manager.

Room # 211 Checked in around 11 pm 12/08/2010 and checked out around 6 am the next day 12/09/2010.
When we woke up my friend complained that she has been bit. We checked the her bed and saw a bedbug with our own eyes (three of us saw it) my friend picked it up and squeezed it and it had blood in it!!
I call the manager after I came home and he denies it and claims he got the room checked and found nothing!! I told him that we saw it he says "will maybe you brought it with you" the whole trip was turned upside down and we were scared the infestation would be transferred to our homes when we go back.
I just found a bump on my arm when i woke up today and I'm scared to death I brought it with me.
