01/31/12 Arrival: I stay in lots of hotels during the week but after staying one night at HIE the next day I had a very itchy red insect bite like marks on my back. I did not go to a DR because each day the itching was getting a little better and redness of the bites getting smaller. I don't want to bad mouth the hotel but would like to know if anyone else had the same experience.

Holiday Inn Express MYSTIC

My husband came home with bedbug bites around his neck. The small red bumps appeared the day right after our first night at the Holiday Inn Express. At first we thought it was allergies, but we soon found out it was not. Very alarming …Terrible! (11/2010)

Holiday Inn Express MYSTIC
6 COOGAN BLVD.
MYSTIC, CT
10/7/10 we checked in at 11pm. Room was musty. When we checked between the mattresses, there were bedbugs all over.Please see attached photo from our cell phone.We left by 12midnight and Holiday in could not help us. Stranded and far from home.
