I arrived on the 22nd of November for Thanksgiving and a a rule placed my luggage on the rack and hung outerwear on the hangers not touching wall. I did not unpack and left suitcase closed and slept with one light on. At about 4:30Am I awoke to see bed bug crossing the sheet at my shoulders and immediately squashed it. Copious amound of my blood flowed from the dead bug. I immediately called the front desk who replied that it was a house keeping issue. I advised thta I would remain in the room for the rest of the night and change rooms in the morning. I did not sleep but spent the time strippint the bed of then top sheets and pillows, making sure none of my belongings were touching anything excepy the top od the suitcase(shoes which were never left on the floor),and then sitting in the middle of the bed fully awake until morning. I changed rooms instead of going to another Hotel since I knew that anywhere I went I would not be able to get any meaningful amount of sleep for fear of bed bugs. In the new room 246, which I was told never had a bed bug report I slept with the Lights on and only for one hour at a time with the aid of an alarm. I also stripped the bed in the new room of the top sheets and pillows. I spent one night at my son's studio to get a full night sleep. I saw that in the prior room all the beds and furniture had been turned over. The Hotel refused to do anything but offer to treat my belongings with chemicals which I refused since such treatment is not advised. I suggested that the hotel reimburse me for heat treatment that they say was unavilable in their area but the refused. I arrived home at 2:45 AM on the 30th of November, 2011 and took larhe plastic bags from my closet and but all my belongings in these bags in the hallway before taking them into the apartment . I stripped all my clothing off just inside my door and places all in a plastic bag and closed all with tape - I then took a shower.

I recently stayed at this hotel and woke up with bed bug bites all over me. I told the clerk at the desk and he kept saying they did not have bed bugs. It is places like these that deny the problem that cause an infestation
