I arrived at the hotel in the very, very early morning hours (think 1am) of February 16th after a late flight. There was only one staff member at the front desk, but she checked me in. I of course checked the room and found a bed bug very quickly after pulling up the skirt on the boxspring. I immediately left the room and, while I would have ordinarily left the hotel immediately, I was there for work with a coworker, and it was very early in the morning. So i just asked for another room. The staff member at the night desk (a young woman) was quite anemic in responding, as she said that should have been cleaned up. I just asked for another room and she gave me one. But she didn't make any note of the room and didn't make any note for anyone to follow up. The second room was bed-bug free, thankfully. After that night, no one from hotel staff reached out to mean to follow up, and when I made a review with a picture of the bedbug, the only response from the hotel was "Template". That's it. So overall this was not handled well. Otherwise the hotel is fairly new and renovated. But I obviously won't be staying here again.
