1. 6/16/2026 at 1am. Saw the bed bug crawling towards my face from the headboard. Caught it, contained it and showed the front desk. I was initially bit the night of 6/14 but it was a few bites and I'm highly allergic to most bites and didn't think much of it. 2. I was moved to room 101. I was instructed to leave my clothes bagged and in my original room so the could be put in their industrial dryer while I was at work. This was not done. And I had to wait for the GM to do this with my clothes and someone traveling with me so we could check out and move to a different hotel. A coworker on the same floor saw one on him on the 3rd floor as well. Once you leave the lobby anywhere with carpet had a sweet and musty odor which, in retrospect should've indicated a widespread problem. Upon my initial checks of the mattress, box spring, sheets, pillows and drawers. I didn't see obvious signs of infestation so perhaps they are in the wooden wall mounted headboards. This establishment does not use a mattress containment system to prevent/contain such pests. Cushions on chairs appear to not be removed for vacuuming either since I found crumbs, hair, a toy, and a ribbon left behind by other guests.
