Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

I booked a hotel room for the weekend 5/5/2023. On 5/6/23 at 2:30am I started to feel itchy on my finger didn’t think nothing of it until I started to feel a bite mark on my finger. I then turned the light on and noticed a bed bug on my side of the bed my husband immediately killed it and took it to front desk. He said he was sorry about the inconvenience and that he will report it and he offered us another room. We obviously gonna stay this night but not staying the full weekend.
